[UPDATED APRIL 2nd, 2012: THIS WAS AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE!]
According to Entertainment Weekly, the upcoming NBC pilot "Revolution" is adding yet another noteworthy name to its already quite impressive cast, however this cast notice has dire implications for a certain character's fate on another Abrams serial.
SPOILER ALERT! Please only read further if you don't mind knowing a possible ending to this season of Fringe!
According to an EW article (linked below), 2 new characters have been cast:
First: Seth Gabel has been cast as "Jeremy Povitch," an astute but naive youth recently graduated from Harvard Law. Caught in heinous circumstances surrounding what is known as "the blackout" he will join the cast as one of the main characters.
Second: Megan Mullally (Will & Grace, Breaking In) has been cast as "Anastasia," a recurring character from the Beaverhausen family of Connecticut. Nothing else is known about this character, but expect less comedy from Mullally than usual, folks!

I don't even know what to think of this... He's the most likely to be killed off for being a somewhat love interest for Olivia... :(
ReplyDeleteEnough with the AF's now :p
ReplyDeleteI've only seen 1 other AF on STV... (and it was genius)... Have I missed some?
ReplyDeleteOhhh somehow i almost believe it XD
ReplyDeleteThat's kinda mean wishing for Lincoln Lee to be killed off on Fringe, even if it's an April Fools' post :)))))
ReplyDeleteIs this an April Fool's day post?
ReplyDeleteBecause if it's not it means either a)Fringe is not getting a 5th season(which would absolutely suck!) OR b)They're going to kill of Lincoln, which I don't know how I feel about.I like AltLinc but our Linc is pointless IMO and I don't care if they kill him off at all!In fact I encourage it!
I would never.
ReplyDeleteIt was the most believable one I could think of... Any of the big 3 and people would've immediately dismissed it.
This is probably an April Fool's prank, but I hope it's true. KILL OFF LINCOLN!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is check the source. They are provided for a reason.
ReplyDeleteYou gave me false hopes :(
ReplyDeleteIt's just the Pilot. I'm guessing Fringe actors are finding other roles in case it doesn't get renewed.
ReplyDeleteWhy on earth would you do this to me? I keep forgetting what fucking day it is. Thank god it's only one day a year.
ReplyDeleteNO!! What about Alt-Lincoln?? I can understand some people not liking our Lincoln, but Alt-Lincoln? :'(
ReplyDeleteAh, I see now. I should get off the internet until this day ends.
ReplyDeleteHaha, nice!I only check them when they say "read more..."
ReplyDeleteI would have checked if it was Anna or Josh or John though...
So sad, I liked him a lot in Fringe.
ReplyDeleteThe worst part is that people seem to think it's a prank just because it comes up on April 1.
I mean, why do you have to be so suspicious ? It's pilot season right now, they're recruiting and it's no secret Fringe has been on the bubble since... well, two and a half years.
Plus, Wilson is a decent fellow, he would never dare to lie to us.
Now, I didn't see that info anywhere else on the Internet. But it can mean only one thing : Wilson has gotten himself an exclusive news ! You got to have quite the informant ;).
I wonder how many angry letters the poor, confused writers and producers are going to get because of this.
ReplyDeleteI think Linc will die this next episode, at least our Linc. I think he
ReplyDeletell go down as a hero though.
Well in any case, I kind of thought Lincoln(s) could die...or that Fringe may widen the box with new characters and/or time travel next season, but regardless of plot of Lincoln Lee or the future of FRINGE, Seth Gable is SUCH a terrific actor, I am glad his talent will not be wasted and he will continue on with Bad Robot.
ReplyDeleteOh jeeze I didn't even think of April Fools....
ReplyDeleteHah, I knew Fringe would get wrapped up in the April Fools' Day celebrations here.
ReplyDeletebefore i clicked the source i was no what about AltLincoln we still LOVEEE him and then i clicked the source...ohh okay its better joke than the one last year that turn out to be true...
ReplyDeleteThat is a splendid idea. I just finished mowing my lawn. :) Beautiful day here.
ReplyDeleteNo, I would NEVER lie to you...like last year. :P
ReplyDeleteWhat joke turned out to be true?
ReplyDeleteYou are a cruel cruel man ;)
ReplyDeleteBahaha, had me with "Anastasia", lost me with "Beaverhausen". I miss Will and Grace.
ReplyDeleteOMG I can't read this,i won't read this, WILSON is this an Aprils fool prank? I can't even read the other comments......
ReplyDeleteThe source holds the answer...
ReplyDeleteDead giveaway for any hardcore Will & Grace fans, LOL
ReplyDeleteI had to come up with something and since I saw her last night on an old episode of 20 Rock I was like "Yeah... Megan Mullally ftw"
ReplyDeleteSheesh, I said it was from EW, check my source!
ReplyDeleteSorry Wilson,as soon as i saw spoiler alert i stopped reading the article,i didn't read who the source was nor the other comments...Still haven't read the article,i just can't bring myself to read the name or names....
ReplyDeleteHey Rick,i can't bring myself to read the article,i don't want to know the person or persons...We had a few April fool jokes here so i thought it was a joke. :(
ReplyDeleteMe too. I got it but I've been thinking they really do want kill Linc off. Certain signs like, they're making him more lovable. They always do that before POW, you're dead.
ReplyDeleteKay with all the awesome casting for this show, I totally bought this one!
ReplyDeleteJust relax and click the source link. You'll be alright I promise.
ReplyDeleteIt's an april fool's joke. If you read past the spoiler alert you'd know it. ;)
ReplyDelete):
ReplyDeleteNice source :)
ReplyDelete...and well played - I fell for this one.
Okay okay lol....did you know right off the bat? I knew the others that were jokes, but Wilson really got me good.... D'OH !! :D
ReplyDeleteW I L S O N !! LOL,okay you got me and you got me good! I thought it was real and i was getting so bummed out! I will remember this and one day you wait i'll get you!!!!! :P
ReplyDeleteHa and where did you get Beaverhausen,lol..... :D
No I was jumping for joy, then I clicked the source link. But I still think Our Linc is toast before the season ends.
ReplyDeleteHe got me too. Not that I was displeased with the news, but still got a nice little rant out of me :p
ReplyDeleteI don't know...I could see them keep ours, he falls in love with the other Olivia, and the red Lincoln dies! But I do think there's a good chance one of them won't make it.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what i was thinking! Our Lincoln doesn't add that much to the story except he is always pouting and pinning for Olivia,so let him fall for the the other Olivia. One way of getting him off the show w/o killing him off?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad i wasn't the only one lol...
ReplyDeleteHahaha Wilson, you're epic. You got me. I panicked for like 15 minutes xD
ReplyDeleteAwww shucks :P
ReplyDeletePer Anastasia Beaverhausen, Google is your friend.
ReplyDeleteI figured Megan Mullally was a good hint...
Red Lincoln doesn't have to die does he? I kinda prefer him...Plus I don't think that he and Fauxlivia are in love in this time line...
ReplyDeleteBah, I don't know. lol This is why for now I'm not speculating or anything, I'm just watching as things develop.
I feel like such a stalker for knowing Seth won't be in the finale and actually taking this thing seriously xD
ReplyDeletehahahahaha I certainly fell for that ^___^ nicely done...
ReplyDeleteYes good hints IF i read the article, you got me way before that! :)
ReplyDeleteAt least i know for next year lol.... :P
I think maybe he'll take the bullet for Our Olivia
ReplyDeleteIf Gabel is joining another show and Fringe is renewed they need to bring back Kirk Acevedo as Scarlie.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me because I like both of them equally...but I like the idea that dopplegangers love interests might help "balance" some of the characters out...I mean in terms of finding a partner...like Peter and Olivia...
ReplyDeleteI do think Red Lincoln still loves her, but they haven't been put in a situation that has made him profess his love for her, like last time (no crazy birth accelaration baby!)
Maybe neither has to die, but like Ricky I just have this weird feeling that the writers are building them up to something...
... really?
ReplyDeleteI even added a notice at the top of the article that this is an AF joke.
Sorry, guy. I just skimmed it this afternoon so good on ya. I obviously bought it.
ReplyDeleteAw Wilson you got me. And now I'm bummed because out of everyone in this timeline the one I would rather die is Lincoln. I love Alt-Lincoln but this Lincoln seems to have no place in the story.
ReplyDeleteHAH, I got you even AFTER April Fool's.
ReplyDeleteAnd once again, even with the notice at the top. O_O
Actually I read it earlier but then a friend pointed out it was an April Fools' joke when I said that I would be happy if Lincoln died. So, yeah, you really got me good. Usually I always click on the source but I was in a hurry this time.
ReplyDeleteI had a better idea for one today but it was obviously too late... I was gonna fake a title for episode 5.01 :P
ReplyDeleteThat would be damned evil I tell you.
Now that one I would have known right away was a joke. Believe me, I am watching carefully for a Fringe renewal notice. One might say obsessively. Killing Lincoln seems much more plausible.
ReplyDeletePlausibility was what I was going for, so I think I struck the jackpot on that one. :P
