  1. The Finder isn't a very good lead in show.

  2. Don't forget it was good Friday.

  3. Fox can't be too happy with this, a 1.1 is about what Fringe usually got for most of their episodes this season and that's is in its' 4th year.

  4. How did Fringe drop from 1.2 to 1.0? Was something going on last night?

  5. I swear I'm a prophet or something...
Oh wait, no I'm not...I just have the common sense to see that The Finder needs to go away. Bring us back Kitchen Nightmares...at least it props up a good 1.3-6....

  6. Fox is probably going to burn off the rest of the Finder's episodes, there's no point in changing time slots now, unless it's on Saturdays a la The Firm if they choose to.

  7. Good Friday/Holy Week?  I think that's an excuse.

  8. they can't put the blame on Fringe then. Kitchen Nightmares despite being a reality show was a very decent lead in as compared to The Finder.

  9. I didn't know Good Friday was an observed holiday in the US. I know just about EVERYTHING here in Canada shuts down for it, though.

  10. I figured it would drop again because of Easter no doubt and the Finder doesn't help.

  11. Idk if Good Friday is a good excuse or not, I just know that yesterday was Good Friday.

  12. Aren't you guys tired of stressing over ratings? I know I am.  Fox knows what they are. They don't really change much. Fox either accepts this or they don't. It has a niche audience.

  13. Lulz at the excuses. I think Easter is a decentish excuse I guess.

  14. Yeah, there's just no point in moving The Finder now, might as well burn off the remaining episodes.

  15. I was worried about the Finder ratings compared to Fringe but it just proved that Friday is more or less dead. I wish Fringe had the 1.2 though. Also Grimm is not so great anymore either.

  16. True. I wish that Fox had planned better. Picking either Alcatraz or Touch as a companion for Fringe and making a solid time-slot not necessarily on Friday.

  17. Tho not an observed Holiday it is a very spiritual time for many Christians, many go to church usually evening mass and other assorted things....Is it an excuse maybe not but it has an impact that's for sure.....

  18.  WTH? Ugh,this is making me sick......... :(

  19. It's fine, it's fine, it's Easter weekend, people are going to church, going to stay with families, people are gonna record Fringe and watch it over the next few days, Fringe will hopefully to a 1.2 next Friday.

  20.  Could not agree more.

  21.  It was good Friday yesterday?...I don't get out much. But hey, that is how I like it.

  22.  Well to be fair now that I look at all the ratings...nothing was very high.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah, Fox was just making desperate moves, it's not a very good season for any of the rookie shows.

  24. I was just looking at the ratings,Blue Bloods usually draws between 10 to 12 million,so unless they calculated all the ratings which i doubt, this Holiday weekend has a significant impact on all the shows....When my in laws were alive we use to spend the weekend since they lived so far from us,i know many families that do that......

  25. Awww Fringe ... 1 ... :,(
I really hope it would have been more!
*Thank you soo much for the share!!!!

  26. Don't forget the people who travel for Easter weekend.  Most schools have the Friday before and Monday after Easter off, so many families use this like Thanksgiving as a prime time to travel to out of state relatives.

  27. Not good but it is Easter weekend.  Glad Supernatural was in reruns.  This might have been a good time for Fringe to be in reruns also.

Also, I prefer the other format where all the boxes can be seen at once.  Makes it easier to get a quick overall picture.  Hopefully that can come back.

  28.  Exactly. Garnering a 1.2 one week and 1.0 the next isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Fringe floats in a certain area of numbers and doesn't typically break from them. It is what it is at this point and FOX knows it.
