PETE MAKES A DECISION IN A CONTENTIOUS MEDICAL CASE THAT AFFECTS HIS PATIENT AND HIS OWN FUTURE, ON ABC’S “PRIVATE PRACTICE”

“Drifting Back” – When a patient’s partner and father are heatedly divided on his health care, Pete makes a decision that impacts everyone, including himself; meanwhile, Jake offers strength and experience to Amelia when he suspects she’s being tempted to substance abuse, Sheldon and Violet treat a family concerned about the father's new sexual appetite, and as baby Henry draws Addison and Sam closer, they struggle to define their relationship, on “Private Practice”, TUESDAY, MAY 8 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Private Practice” stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Tim Daly as Dr. Pete Wilder, Benjamin Bratt as Jake Reilly, KaDee Strickland as Dr. Charlotte King, Paul Adelstein as Dr. Cooper Freedman, Brian Benben as Dr. Sheldon Wallace and Caterina Scorsone as Dr. Amelia Shepherd, with Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett and Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner.

Guest cast TBA.

“Drifting Back” was written by Gabriel Llanas and Zahir McGhee and directed by Jeannot Szwarc.

    oh no, not Sam again...I was so happy when they finally broke up and I was just waiting for Addison and Jake to be together... honestly, I dislike Sam more and more...
    I wonder what is wrong with Amelia's baby...:(

    I can't believe they're wasting screentime on Addison and Sam again. Oh well. If Henry makes him suddenly change his mind about wanting a child and they get back together again, I can at least easily quit watching this show for good.

    It'll be cool to see Jake and Amelia's story, even she'll be going through a rough time. I feel like they haven't shared much screen time. And I'm NOT looking forward to Addison drifting back toward Sam. Seriously? I'm pretty sure you've played that out.

    not sam and addison again-.- I liked them a bit at first, but his character is annoying me now, and I love Jake, hes a much better fit for her. I really hope everythings okay with Amelia!
