I think people either loved or hated that Bollywood sequence. The biggest issue with it was integration, I think. If they did a better job of integration the actual number into the narrative, it would have been PERFECT. As it was, pfffft, I still loved it. Awesome number, and Ivy's song at the end just shows why she's the perfect fit for Marilyn.
I hate how they always have Julia out of the way when Ivy's out to get Karen, she's the only one who seems to be on her side for the right reasons. The song at the end was great but how good her voice is ruined by her personality. Bitchy and insecure I was fine with, but teaming up with Ellis was the last straw.
Loved the last five minutes! With the Uma twist at the end, diva alert! I was annoyed by the Leo storyline though, what was up with that Mom not telling them where their son was? They'd called the COPS! And judgy high school kids piss me off. Leo really needs to get over it. He is 17. He should really deal better. Oh well. Ivy was stupendous and the song was really lovely. I agree with downtorio the Bollywood number was an integration problem not a song issue. Is there anyone that Karen doesn't blindly trust? She can't possibly be that easy to manipulate.
I think i never hated a character as much as i hate Ellis! Come on!! I mean, i can understand why Ivy would do that, so she could get the song, but what does Ellis get from that? I really hope he gets fired sometime.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
