I wasn't expecting Greg to volunteer to go back to Vietnam - I figured he'd come back with PTSD or something. And ohhhh Don... I wondered how long it would be before he cheated, but I thought he was doing such a good job of resisting until now. But did it actually happen? What was with that crazy hallucination?
It was kind of strange (and humanizing) to see that even Peggy struggles with trust issues when it comes to African-Americans, since she stands out as being so tolerant and friendly all the time. I know she left her purse out in the open in the end, but you could see the moment of silent understanding that passed between her and Dawn.
This season feels totally different so far and almost seems like this prelude to death or magor change. Last night's episode really took a weird liberty with a sick Don who imagines strangling an old fluzzie he ran into earlier in the day,, a crazy Chicago Nurse serial killer, Sally with Henry's mother in 'the haunted house', whom has rather strange and conflicting ideals totally fine with giving Sally sleeping pills, but not ok with TV, Newspaper, or children not finishing their tuna fish sandwhiches, then we have Crazy Greg who needs the war to make himself feel better and volunteered to go back, and Peggy get the best of Roger, but then almost insulted the other Don just by wanting to take her purse with her...
Not mention the past few eps have had Betty possibly have cancer which parallels Ann Drapper, Peggy now mirroring Don with the B-day Party and new JEWISH copywriter....
This is a strange season...wonder where it's going?!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
