I liked the episodes tho the bitter taste of S1 is still fresh.. I believe there's more to this murder than we are told in this couple of episodes.. & I'm looking forward to knowing more!
Same old show. I watch it and it's fine. But it feels like a bunch of circling and red herrings. I wouldn't miss it if it were gone tbqh, but it has some strong points. The mood is great. And it's quiet, thoughtful storytelling. But so much of it just seems like filler.
Great episode, I enjoyed it very much - I don't understand why people get so frustrated with the plot. It's ambitious, which is very rare thing nowadays... And there's great stuff coming to the police station (corruption etc.) - seems to be very close to everyday reality!
Well, I intended on abandoning this show but I had a little free time and I checked out the 2hr. premiere.
It was quite good. - I liked Linden's constant state of paranoia. I feel really sorry for her kid though. - Holder is completely melting down now that he knows he's in over his head. - I can't decide if the new boss is crooked or just preoccupied with covering his own ass. - Somehow I get the feeling something may happen between Stan and Terry. - I didn't like the abrupt exit by Oakes but I doubt we've seen the last of that guy.
If I continue to watch this series it will be because of the excellent performances by the cast. Despite how horribly the producers have handled this show, the actors continue to work their asses off and it pays off onscreen.
I loved the premiere. I'm one of the few that liked last season's finale and I'm more than satisfied with the comeback.
I really like Holder's character, and like I've said above, I think he's just an very screwed guy who's made some bad decissions, but I believe he's a good guy. And if that's the case, I think Linden will realize sooner than later.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Why do I have the feeling that Holder is the killer?
ReplyDeleteOooo. Interesting theory. I've had the feeling Oakes is, but I hope not. That "evil boss" plot is overused. But Holder would be really unexpected.

No way!!! I still have faith that he's a good guy who's made some bad decissions. He'll make ammends, I hope.
