Janik is a Russian Mobster ( King Pin?- def a boss of some kind ) - going to him in ANY capacity is just asking for trouble! And YES, from the first sight of the man, I knew something was up with him. Now we know that he's behind the computers and the fire--- but he also mentioned "they" (meaning the GIRLS) we're all Russian- which we also know is a LIE as Aunti Terry isn't a Russian nor is Spencer - Rosie's friend from school- (we're both on the site). My best guess is that Janik has been running Beau Soleil's all along... Using Stan's company & co trucks to do the cleaning up.
I feel for Holder, wanting so badly to do the right thing, and failing. I am just glad that Sara is letting him back in. She needs him just as much as he needs her! Sara & Jack - are the sister & nephew that he can't have the relationship with- subs- if you will. Uncle Steve is/has been banished, and he misses/needs them.
Mitch- that woman needs to get her "stuff" straight! I know she's hurting - but she isn't the only one! And to be sooo selfish as to abandon her two boys is disgraceful! She's been on self punishing- pity- party since day one. Stop thinking of only yourself woman! I can only hope that this little bit of whoring around gets her back on the right track. Like Holder- hitting rock bottom - maybe this will straighten her out!
TK is another wonderful show by AMC ! Keep up the awesome!
"And it wasn't even raining." LOL. We would have needed "beyond awesome" in the poll! I agree with you, it was awesome. I specially loved Holder's story. It was just coherent with the character that once he found out that he'd been conned by his mentor and that he no longer had Linden's respect (which was so important to him last season) he'd have a breakdown.
I was very surprised about Janik's involvement, though. I hadn't thought of that possibility. Liked the turn, although I'm sure there's more to it, I don't think it was Janik getting revenge...
It's too early in the season to pinpoint a killer, but Janik's involvement in Beau Soleil was a surprise. Stan doesn't completely trust Janik, but unfortunately trusted him enough to ask him to check into Rosie's involvement in prostitution. I also don't think Janik is getting revenge, but he was getting money from Beau Soleil. Now I'm suspecting Stan's rich friend, Tom.
I hope Holder makes up with his sister. I want him to be able to spend time with his nephew. As I remember, he had a chance last season, but had to cancel so he could help Sarah look for Jack.
We need to learn more about Mitch's background. Seeing how her sister turned out, I wonder if Mitch was always an angel. Or if Rosie is even Stan's.
I was also affected by Richmond's dawning realization that he is indeed paralyzed from the waist down. Such a young, vital man. I wonder if he'll resign from the race now.
I hear the ratings was up just slightly. At least everyone who decided to watch the premiere were back this week, not that ratings matter a lot for cable. Although I never swore off the show (but was very vocal about how the finale was shitty), I haven't watched it yet. I will watch it after a few weeks maybe. How is the show now? Just as good as it was (except the finale)?
This was a huge step down from episode one. The vast majority of this episode was everyone's endless personal baggage and tales of woe and for most of the episode you couldn't tell it was a murder mystery. The only events that moved the actual plot forward happened in the last five minutes of the show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
another great episode.. I liked how they developed the plot.. lots of things to wonder about ..

ReplyDeleteKillaman should get an Emmy for his performance.
