Eep.. the Dean's costume outfit creeped me out tonight haha. And oh my gosh, Annie broke Abed! I really enjoyed Troy.. or Abed, I guess.. on truth serum, too.
Such a great episode! Only Community can be so crazy out there but so damn good ... well comedy wise cause Fringe has crazy out there down on the drama side.
Highlights include: -Troy on truth serum -Dean outfit -Little analysis on Jeff/Annie -Pierce actually sitting on his balls -The effects
The only thing I was hoping we'd see was an Evil Timeline Abed. Still doesn't matter cause it was an awesome episode!
What an amazing ep. the "duali-dean", and the interesting peek into Abed's head, and the hilarious "technical difficulties" caboose, not to mention the dreamtorium just rocked !
That was just amazing!! It was great for Abed to make those realizations (beyond the sheer awesomenes of how he sees the rest of the group) with Annie bouncing the concepts on him. Pure character interaction greatness.
Loved it! I always have a soft spot for Annie/Troy/Abed interactions in any combination because I feel like, in their own ways (being the youngest and most innocent, if you will), they're really the heart of the group. Loved How Annie and Abed spent their time in the Dreamatorium challenging each other enough to each come away with new insights about themselves and each other. Beautifully done.
Annie's efforts to find (and understand) Abed were great, and typical of her, and her little Winger speech at the end was perfect. But, I really appreciated that it connected in a small way: The little bit towards the end where Annie, trying her damnedest to get into the game, still doesn't get it quite right... and you can see in his expression just where Abed decides to roll with it and play along anyway? Perfection.
This wasn't the funniest, or most "epic," but I'd rank this as definitely the cutest Community ever.
Loved it! The dreamatorium theme was so creative. I especially liked Troy and Britta in the restaurant dealing with the waiter who didn't like Diehard. On a similar note, loved Troy's confession that he didn't understand Inception. LOL.
I was watching with particular attention to see if I could get a deeper understanding of Chevy's complaints to Dan H. Pierce was hardly used, and when he was, it was for a lame "old man's balls" joke. I think Chevy originally expected to be having a more central and funny role, and I can understand his being upset at how it turned out. However, Community is great as it is, with the major characters being Troy, Abed, Jeff, Britta, and Annie and the others having side roles. More Pierce just wouldn't work.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That was a little ... weird. Loved Troy being so worried about Abed! Annie pissed me off by Britta-ing the situation with Abed.
ReplyDeleteAnd LOL, poor Pierce. And I loved Dean's outfit! Creepy, but awesome.
Instant classic. Loved all of Abed's interpretations of the other characters.
ReplyDeleteLoved it!

ReplyDeleteThis show is just awesome!!
I loved this look into Abed's mind. Definitely one of the best of the season in my eyes :D

Brilliant episode! Favourite "Troy and Abed in the Morning" tag!
ReplyDeleteIt was great!!! Annie broke Abed.... twice!!!! (also nice to know Garrett's the cameraman)
ReplyDeleteGenerally about the episode, it was interesting to see how Abed's mind works and to get a interperspective of the group.

That was brilliant, I loved how it explored Abed and Annie and their friendship and how they are both control freaks in their own way.
