Okay, I want the names and locations of the two guys who voted "poor" and "awful", tomorrow I'll come knockin' at your door asking for a detailed explanation of how can Community EVER be bad.
Seriously, instead of distorting the polls, go watch TBBT (or a repeat, there's as many people watching repeats anyway) and leave us awesome Communists alone in our bliss.
Now, I haven't seen the episode, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed, the title is very promising. I'll be waiting for my delivery stork (named iTunes) to bring me the best version of the episode tomorrow afternoon.
Great Annie/Britta stuff in this episode! I think my favorite part of the entire episode though, was the Dean showing up at the apartment and Abed saying "I need help reacting to something..." Great stuff :) The Pierce/Chang thing was... odd? I'm excited about the possibility of Britta/Troy, though! I've been hoping those two would keep gravitating toward each other for a while.
Agreed. While some episodes are less than "awesome", I've never seen an episode that could be constituted as awful. This is such a fantastic and underrated show.
Loved the episode. You had the sort of callback montage with a sad song playing over with Pierce/Chang, Britta's obsessive texts, Jeff learning a lesson, Jeff/Annie, Britta/Troy, Troy/Abed, the Dean in an outfit (first since they came back), Dean touching Jeff's shoulder, and just natural hilarious stuff! But I want to know what Troy wrote to Britta!
Loved the episode. I know everyone likes Annie with Jeff and Troy with Britta- and I'm totally for it (mostly because Jeff and Annie's chemistry is always 100% apparent- and because Britta and Troy would be off the charts dysfunctional in the best possible way). But am I only one who wants them to do something with Annie and Troy first? It doesn't have to be end game- or even last more than an episode- but I think it deserves some attention. Plus the reactions of Jeff and Britta could be pretty great. Then they can return to Jeff/Annie and Britta/Troy having explored an unresolved romantic (might just be better as platonic) tension.
On an unrelated note- the story line I most want to see: Troy and Annie's 5 year (3 year? 4 year?) high school reunion. Maybe Troy momentarily goes back to his jockish ways, while Annie brings along Abed as her date so everyone's favorites BFFLs can trade longing looks and virtual best friend hand shakes from across the venue space. And you know Abed would work in some epic Romy and Michele's High School Reunion allusions. Maybe even his very own interpretive dance sequence to Time After Time? I'll be keeping my fingers crossed . . .
The appartment stuff was hilarious, the Deans were amazing, the carvival bits were fantastic and all the interpersonal relationships were 100% to the point! Excellent episode!!!!!
March I’m with you on the Troy and Annie thing, but I think they kind of put the two of them on the platonic/just friends shelf when Annie moved in with Troy and Abed. It would be interesting to see it play out. I like the reunion stuff too…and Jeff’s reaction to having Abed chosen over him as the perfect date would be hilarious. “Origins of Vampire Mythology” was a brilliant episode, I thought. This is when Community is at its best, when there are no gimmicks (even though the gimmick episodes are AWESOME) but just the characters and their relationships with one another. Every Friday at work I get together with a coworker here at DISH on our lunch break to watch the latest episode and dissect it. We use my iPad and pull up dishonline.com which is super convenient, as we can start and stop the show to provide for commentary, discussion, and of course, to wait for the laughter to die down. We much have watched Annie’s impression of Troy (“There’s a phone in the fridge! Duhhh!”) about a dozen times. I can’t state again how much I loved this episode, I think it’s easily the best since the show came back from the hiatus, and second this season only to “Remedial Chaos Theory”.
I don't usually care about ships on Community apart from disliking Jeff/Annie and really hoping they don't go there but damn I really loved Britta/Troy it was just so sweet.
This episode was great as I have a huge love for the Blade movies (well the first two) and the whole keeping Britta away from her ex story was hilarious
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Loved it! LOL at Dean hanging out with Troy and Abed. Aww at the whole group watching a movie at the end.
