  1. Holy shit at the ending. I figured the cliffhanger would be about Megan, but then Peter showed up just in time and I figured it was going to end happily. Then he got stabbed. PLEASE DON'T CANCEL THIS SHOW, ABC. IT'S SO GOOD.

  3. On that note. Why did Peter show up at the office after he went to Bud's party?
I have a feeling the show will get renewed.

  4. I love Peter and Megan together, and considering how Peter reacted earlier in the show I thought he wouldn't show up. But he did &  basically ABC needs to pick up the show again, if for nothing more than letting us know whether or not Peter lives.

  5. Please don't cancel this show. Dana Delaney plays Megan the most realistically of any of the female M.E.'s on television at the moment. Come on, ABC, keep this show.

  10. I was enjoying this episode.  Really I was.

Do writers not realize how absolutely annoying it is to have a strong character do NOTHING in a crisis?   Megan Hunt is a FREAKING surgeon and a friend of hers is stabbed and she doesn't dial 911 before offering comfort?  (It didn't look like the kind of wound that would cause him to bleed out so quickly that she had to leave it in place...but then I'm not a doctor....SHE IS!!!)   She doesn't go grab something to help him and give him the best odds of being alive when the ambulance arrives.  (seriously I want to hit the caps lock key so badly )  No, they think this woman will sit there rocking this guy.  It is such an out of character move that it royally pisses me off!  That was my last taste for the season.

  11. the last 5 minutes is kinda predictable...

I predicted the last 5 minutes of the show last Wednesday (at here http://www.spoilertv.com/2012/04/body-of-proof-episode-220-mind-games.html) and then I was totally right... Peter-cliffhanger + Celebration (baby shower). i really am a TV addict...

You better give me a season 3.

  12.  Well, Megan was probably in shock. She *had* just been beaten up by a serial killer.

  13. Great episode! I'm glad they ended the mystery though I'm not too happy with the cligghanger, seeing as we don't know if the show will be coming back next season. Hope it does, even if it's just a shortened season.

I also have to say I think I would have prefered if Megan actually had made a mistake and gotten the wrong guy. I think it would have humbled her a little, made her more human and relatable and I think the character has reached a point where something like that would be good for the show and her growth.

  14. I'm calmer.  Really.  But I can't give her that.  She's a trained surgeon.  She's not supposed to handle these situations like the regular person.  Add to that the fact that this character takes nothing lying down.  Her daughter was in the hospital and she came out fighting.  She kept a clear head while being threatened by the serial killer.   A good friend is (possibly dying) and she sits there saying it'll be okay.  I just can't buy it.

The director broke the character to get a cliffhanger shot.  This isn't the only director to do it and it makes me nuts.  There were ways to get the cliffhanger moment and not damage the character in the process.  Personally, I would have found it more intense if she'd been fighting for him and scared she was losing him.  The scene would have been more intense and I might have thought for a second that he might die.  As it stands this particular cliffhanger (character might die) has been used so much that I don't care and won't until I hear casting news for the next season indicate that he won't be back.  For a show that has worked so hard to raise the tension (and done a good job) this particular cliff hanger isn't an 'ohmygosh I can't wait til next season' cliffhanger.   If that was the desire they should have ended with Megan turning around and seeing the serial killer THEN fade to black.  But that might have been to much for a show on the bubble.  Almost as annoying as the last moments of Las Vegas.

  17. Peter might of had a strange feeling about text the serial killer sent

  18. She did dial 911... They just didn't show it cuz they thought it would be "Interruptual" or whatever. Like when she took the duct tape off her hands, she also removed it from her mouth, probably to dial 911 before she shot him...

  19. :-D  Good try.  I will give you the 911 call.  (because as the cliche goes, in the season premiere the paramedics will show up)

But it doesn't get me past the rocking instead of giving medical attention.
