  1. Great Season-Finale. Nice to leave everyone in a predicament, whereas I predict that Josh gets out alive as Nora and Ray dies by exchanging the shots, after a time jump, Aidan is dug out by Henry or Josh either or and as for Sally, she is helped by Aidan and Josh.

  2. All I can say is thank god Suren is dead!! I never felt the supposed epic love affair between Suren and Aidan, and her and all her drama only made Aidan a worst friend to the roomies.

Surprisingly, Henry has grown on me so hopefully he's not dead too.

I would have loved if the roomies had more scenes together before they went off to do their own stuff in the finale. I really, really hope the Sams & Meaghan have more scenes together in season 3.

  3. Pretty much what I think will happen. They're the main characters. Makes no sense to do anything permanent to them.

  4. Fantastic season finale! Very emotional and great performances by all, with an interesting setup for next season.... hard to believe that we'll have to wait almost another year til the next season to find out what happened... bummed but figured that Suren would die by either Mother's or her hand - I liked her character as she brought out a nice side of Aidan, and really liked Sally's and Josh's hug by proxy...

  5. that was a really cruel cliffhanger considering we will have to wait all the way until Jan 2013 to get our conclusions. Now that my rant is over on that.. That was a Great Season finale it really had me on the edge of my seat.. I thought Suren would kill her mother did not see her mother killing her.. Also shocked that sally sheared herself and possibly has found a way out for s3?? Cant wait to see what this means for other Ghosts stuck in Limbo!, As for Josh I dont even know what to say on that.. I wonder if his the one who doesn't come back as the spoilers said.. because 2 shots got fired.. I think Nora shot Ray and then Ray shot Josh. His the only one in a position that could lead to him not coming back. Overall Great season! So glad I pushed past ep 1 in the first season because this show has got better with every episode.

  6. Man, I wish Aidan had been interacting with Mother all season instead of her daughter (in spite of the fact that Suren finally managed to become a little interesting, or at least sympathetic, at the end there). BUT! What a great set-up for next year. I've been irritated with the Aidan/Suren relationship all year, and the fact that it appeared to be a shell game with the real Aidan/Mother story hiding underneath it all lessens that aggravation retroactively... a little. Still, there was something incredibly soapy about the pacing and dialogue in the Suren/Aidan scenes that I cannot excuse on the whole, even if the payoff managed to be pretty good. I'll let it go because so many other things about this season and this episode worked, but overall the conclusion didn't feel as earned as it should have.

Although... part of A's very Bishop-like interaction with his progeny indicated to me that a lot of what took place between A and S - the extremes, the melodrama, the myopia - was an unhealthy Aidan regressing into vampirism even while he brought out Suren's humanity. Or, going further, maybe what was so... off about S and her characterization was that she never really was the vampire she pretended to be. She was always far more human than any of them, and that's why she couldn't be a real leader/or presence/or anything particularly impressive (especially to the viewers), and ultimately why she had to die. She and Aidan were over the top and forced because their love for each other was more about what they thought the other represented - the humanity, the vampirism - and what they wanted it to be, than who they actually are/were and what it actually was.

I anticipate an Aidan next season who really struggles with the premise of the show - ie. whether he really wants to be human after all.

Sally and Josh were just beautiful this episode, together and separately. I loved their scene together acknowledging they may never see each other again and sharing a hug. Like Aidan's goodbye last week, the emotions felt pitch perfect and the actors sold the hell out of it. I never recognized that, while she seems to confide more in Aidan, Sally appears to have a special soft spot for Josh until these recent episodes. And Josh just kills me with every interaction with all the many ladies in his life.

I was sad that he decided to kill Ray - and I know it was the really dark place he's found himself in that led him there. Still, I can't help but think that had the situation not forced his hand, he wouldn't have gone through with it. I suppose we'll never know.

Great season all around- I could write pages! Just love this show, and will definitely miss it. Is it next year yet?

  7. I'm just hoping Nora will survive! She has become one of my favorite characters on the show!

And I'm a huge Josh and Nora fan. I've loved their storyline since season 1! That's my favorite couple on the show, and I'm invested in them.

In their stand off with Ray, I think it is obvious that Josh will survive as he is the main character. And Ray will survive because if he dies, then Josh is no longer a wolf. Well, the show is about a werewolf. So he'll survive!

I'm worried about Nora, though! Because out of the 3 characters in the stand off, she is in most danger due to storylines! BUT Julia did just die, and there was a funeral for her. So would the writers really kill off Nora just two episodes after Julia? Wouldn't that be TOO MUCH for Josh? Killing both women that he loves in two episodes? So I hope that she will survive! I view her as one of the main characters, too. She has been on the show since season 1 like the main trio. So she's a huge part of the show!

So I hope what happened is that one or two of them are simply "wounded." Not dead. I think that would make more sense to me.

  8. Ray could die and Josh still be a wolf if Nora was the one who shot him, right?

  9.  Yep, totally have to agree with you that I'm totally relieved that Suren is dead! I don't know what the writers were thinking when they came up with the love affair and I'm not quite sure if a casting change would have made an improvement (somebody on another board said that she seemed like she was bored all the time, even with Aidan and I have to agree) or if the writing needed to be changed too.

I don't quite understand if they've been in love for so long, why Aidan never tried to dig her up and set her free either. None the less, I'm very glad that her story line is done and over with and that we can move on to better ones next season.

Also I have to agree that by being with Suren and helping to lead Boston, I thought that Aidan became much more self-involved and inhuman. He lost a lot of his good qualities from season 1 and I really missed seeing him more with Josh and Sally.

  10.  Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm not sure if you have to be the first person in a bloodline that was cursed (like Josh) or if anyone in that bloodline that was cursed (like Nora) can kill the maker in order to cure the curse. I'm thinking that Josh has to be the one in order to kill Ray because he was begging Nora to take her gun off of Ray and shoot him in order to save herself from the curse. Either way we'll find out next season ,but the wait's going to be brutal ugh...

  12. Heres my take:

Aiden - Will be dug up by either one Henry or guy from council who who he helped by killing wolf. following that Aiden wil again confront Mother and kill her thus taking over Boston which would give him back the resources he needs to survive

Sally - Neither Josh nor Aiden likely have the knowledge to free Sally and I am unsure if radio message will get to either. I suspect Sally's Mother does not use her door and tell s one or both of the roomies what Sally did and where she is at this point they might here radio message or vice versa. I then suspect they will seek out Zoey to help them get Sally back and use getting zoeys BF out of limbo as well as her motivation

Josh -  Josh does not die! Nora and Ray had their guns pointed at each other so its unlikely Josh is shot. However if you rewatch episode the second shot comes quite a bit after first shot. This could mean first shot was not lethal or at least not right away or (My guess) second shot is a suicide and likely Nora. I like Nora but she has served her purpose on show its time to move on and having Nora take her own life after killing ray might do it. this would also keep curse alive.

  16. In my opinion it was awesome, especially because I can't even say I liked one main character more than another for the simply reason they all had an exciting part in this season finale and it makes them start with an interesting (hopefully) plot as well in the upcoming next season which btw It's going to be horror waiting for it!!! until 2013? seems like eternity; hell it is an eternity, but it's worth it.

  17. Seems like you and I are in the minority for liking Nora-most people seem to have negative feelings about her. I got invested in them in season 1 and I was so disappointed when she decided to leave Josh because she wasn't interested in finding a cure and wanted to be a wolf with Brynn (especially after everything Josh had done for her before that).

I, like you, feel like she's almost become one of the main characters and I would be really disappointed if she ended up getting killed at the beginning of the next season. I think that following what happened to Julia that would really change who Josh is.

Anyway I just wanted to say that you're not the only Josh/Nora fan out there :)
