  1. Wow! Steve Lawrence who played Jake, the confidential informant, looked real good after 30 odd years. (Carol Burnett Show)

  2. I thought the episode was okay as far as cop shows go, but I expect more from Awake.  I couldn't really get invested in yet another episode focusing on Britten coming to terms with moving to Oregon.  And the way they sledgehammered the message that home is where your loved ones are and doesn't depend on possessions was unnecessary.  I prefer my shows a little more subtle.  What I really want to know is what will happen when Britten lives in different places in his two realities, so I wish they'd finally get round to that.  Not to mention some more development on the Big Question about the accident and how Harper and the mysterious Carl are involved.

this episode was so romantic but we want to hear the explanation to the cops at the end but the episode finish in black like the end of sopranos

  4. I liked it. The case wasn't as high action, and it was a more emotional episode in it's whole but I don't know it was sweet... I really enjoyed the different pace.

  5. That serial killer is going to be his anchor for both realities

  6. Hmm, that was a tad disappointing.  It really didn't have anything to do with his condition, apart from the 'Palace' think which was about as tenuous as it can get.

  7. I voted OK, which surprised me. I actually didn't like this episode. It wasn't written with subtlety. It was a little too cheesy. With 13 episodes there shouldn't be a filler episode. Just saying.

  8. Wasn't as good as some of the other eps but I really loved the opening and then the reveal at the end, it was sweet makes you really care for Michael and his wife

  9. Just occurred to me, we didn't even see the shrinks at all in this episode, except in the title sequence.  This truly was a filler.

  10. Sure, it wasn't mythology-filled or answered too many questions, but I thought it was awesome. I wouldn't call it a filler. It's a character development episode, and they finally deepened Hannah's character and revealed new information about Britten's past and what kind of a cop he is.

As long as this is the only episode with a slower pace out of the 13 episodes, I'll be satisfied. I voted awesome.

  11. Not a filler at all, it just shows the many ways in which Awake can develop or split. Thoroughly enjoyed it as I have with every glorious episode of the series so far. Awake isn't and shouldn't be just another cop show there's a human story too, this is well thought out drama at its best.

  12. what's even stranger, I didn't notice the lack of the shrinks either until I just read your comment, I kept feeling like something was off and that's what it was. This episode felt like the writers dropping anvils on my head, going 'Do you get it?' Which is a little silly since this is kind of a thinking person's show.

  13. I enjoy the cop show elements and the human story in equal measures, but this is also a show about mystery and psychology, both of which happen to be my favourite things about Awake so far, and both of which were completely missing from this episode. That's why, for me anyway, it feels like a filler.
