Pilot buzz update - CW could pick up 6 new shows!

CW: Arrow, Carrie Diaries, Cult, The Selection, Beauty and The Beast and First Cut are all in serious contention and the CW could pick up all six pilots!
CBS:
Drama:
mostly likely picking up three dramas RALPH LAMB, ELEMENTARY and one of WIDOW DETECTIVE, which tested well, GOLDEN BOY and legal drama BABY BIG SHOT. APPLEBAUM and TROOPER seem to have cooled off.
Comedy: NICK STOLLER pilot and PARTNERS doing well. LOUIS CK/SPIKE FERESTEN, DORF/FALCONE and BERLANTI/MALINS all in the mix and SUPER FUN NIGHT getting mixed reaction.

CHICAGO FIRE : catching fire
COUNTY and Do No Harm: real contenders but Do No Harm losing momentum
MIDNIGHT SUN: looking less likely
FRONTIER : liked by network but mixed testing
NOTORIOUS: came out well
BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE: bad

THE NEW NORMAL: could get a early pickup soon
1600 PENN: serious contention tested well
FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER: didnt test well but still in contention

    God please NO!!!! The Secret Circle might survive a cut to make room for 5 new pilots(if Ringer, Gossip Girl, 90210, Nikita & Hart of Dixie all go) but it won't survive 6(Vampire Diaries, ANTM, Supernatural and something-else-which-I've-forgotten-at-this-moment all stay). It's already a toss up between Nikita, Hart of Dixie & TSC as it is.

    The only pilot I'm really interested in is The Selection. I LOVED the Pilot script and right now I'm reading the book. I really hope it gets a pick-up.

    Glad to see that B&B tested well! Hopefully Kristen Kreuk will make her way back to our tv screens!! Also looking forward to Arrow.

    And nooo, I am rooting for 666 Park Ave. and Gilded Lilys to both be picked up at ABC along with Devious Maids.

    I Assume Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, ANTM and Supernatural are safe ANTM or Gossip Girl could be reduced to just Fall 
    i guess they'l probably keep 90210 too and one of Hart of Dixie/Nikita/Secret Circle and have four new shows in the fall and 2 midseason

    Why are they keeping 90210 and Gossip Girl? Gossip Girl hasn't pulled in numbers above 1 million in nearly 4 episodes. 90210's numbers are just as bad as The Secret Circle's(worse even, if you consider it's in its 5th season and has no room to grow, unlike TSC).

    Secret circle gets an 0.8 women demo  out of 1.8 for VD 
    GG and 90210 get in the ones in women demosSS has a VD leadin take that away on fridays it will sinkSS has the best lead in and still does the same as HOD, HOD does better on itunes and doesnt need a lead in

    Ugh. I still can't understand why so many people jumped ship on The Secret Circle. It's amazing now. It needs at least one more season to try and find it's feet. Bones went through a similar patch in it's first 2 seasons and now it's a huge winner for Fox. Shows need time.

    And if the CW is hanging it's brand on Gossip Girl and 90210, then it won't be a brand for much longer.

    Well they're supposed to renew Gossip Girl, which is pretty big in the foolish department ^^

    Here's my thinking on CW schedule.

    Gossip Girl will be keep till Midseason for final 13 episodes season on eather tuesday or Wedsday

    Monday-Beauty and the beast,other new show

    Tuesday-90210,The carrie diaries

    Wedsday-ANTM,new show

    Thursday-The Vampire Diaires,Arrow

    friday-Nikita,Supernatural

    The CW will not premiere a new show on Friday.I think 1 new show will be keep for midseason.

    I thought I was the only rooting for B&B! Either way, I'm really happy with the news! I couldn't choose among so many good pilots. Get rid of GG and TSC and renew Nikita and HoD!

    Do you think there's nay hope of them keeping NIKITA? All three freshman dramas so no sign of a strong future(I know NIKITA doesn't either), but it'll be entering its third season. I always thought that TSC would replace NIKITA but it's already doing really bad to be moved to Fridays. I think/hope they keep NIKITA and just "clean sweep" all three freshman dramas.

    Having Kristin Kreuk on It makes me Intrigued on B&B.I hope It can be as Intresting as 1980's version.I think Arrow will be getting the post Vampire Diaires slot.I think Nikita has
    good shot at keeping the firday slot before Supernatural.The CW will not premiere a new show on Friday nights.Count on it.And I think Nikita has good shot over the Secret Circle for friday.Hart of Dixie Is probally going to be a casuality of the CW ordering so many pilots to series.They should drop Gossip Girl but unfortuntly they will give It a final season.I am betting It will be like One tree Hill this season.Keep off till january and they run a final 13 episodes block.B&B and Arrow are only new CW shows that could Intrigure me.

    CW should renew Nikita and air on midseasons/summer(full season), give ANTM one season instead of two every year (on summer. The show is fading, and with Nigel and the Jays gone, it's really hard to get any better), give Gossip Girl a final season with no more than 13 episodes.
    Mondays: First Cut - Carrie Diaries
    Tuesdays: Cult - 90210
    Wednesdays: Beauty and the Beast - The Secret Circle
    Thursdays: The Vampire Diaries - The Selection
    Fridays: Supernatural - Arrow
    Midseason: Gossip Girl - Nikita
    Summer: ANTM - Nikita

    Gives Nikita less competition and space to grow, pleases both Niki and GG fans, preserves ANTM image, gets some summer programming for the CW, and a whole lot of new shows. Plus, adding those freshman shows on the 8pm slot, there's a chance one of them becomes a hit, which means a good lead in for the older shows (let's face it: those older shows aren't in great position, and a bad lead in can lift up or sink down a show. TVD and SPN are the only "lead-in"able for the 8pm slot, and SPN would do great on any weekday, but it's steady on fridays, and the network needs to play it a little bit safe)

    Apart from Nikita to Safe bet they have 90210 with the Secret Circle as could go eather way and
    hart of dixie as safe bet.Those surprise me.It would certinly be Intresting If Hart of dixie got renewed and 90210 got axed.As long as Nikita Is renewed all If fine with me.

    With Nikita the actors are acting like they know something we don't.Maggie Q this week has been going to local stations to promate It.And Shane west Is  acting like the show has been renewed.Earlier this year word was the producers would be told In advance If the CW Intended to cancle It so they could give It some closure.Everything points to nothing like that has happened.I think ther eIs good chance the one night on the CW that will remain as Is Is Friday.
    They might surprise me and burn off gossip Girl In fall so a new show can premiere In January.

    So based on TV Line It could be Ringer(which we all know was coming) The Secret circle and
    90210 that get axed.Gossip Girl eather runs September -December or January-March.With one new show In Gossip Girl's timeslot on mondays.2 new shows on tuesdays.a New show on Wedsday,and a a new show on thuesday.With one addational show on air at midseason during
    another show's hituas.

    Ive read the book and really enjoyed it but am not sure how they can make a whole season out of it. It may get really repetitive? Plus the cast of the show seems to have the main male characters switched round in regards to their physical descriptions from the book?

    First cut sounds like an awsome show!! What great cast!! It's so different compared Any other doctor show, funny and witty but also can bring a tear to the eye;) check it out!
    CW should take advantage of this show !!
