Cancelled Shows Hart of Dixie Homeland Once Upon A Time Suburgatory The MentalistIs the Fringe team in for a future shock? Has The Mentalist gone wild? The Mentalist | Next, we take a trip to the reader mailbag, where Luis clamors for “scoop on The Mentalist. Anything you can tell me will work!” Well, rather than settle for “any” scoop, how about some juicy goodness regarding the season finale? “It’s a big one,” Owain Yeoman promises us, adding: “Jane really does go off the reservation.” And along the way, the CBI consultant might take someone surprising down with him, literally. “I can say that he will end up shooting….” Er, actually, we’ll save Owain’s bacon and cut him off there. But he does go on to say the shooting “is a really, really big deal for us” and part of “our most action-packed finale to date.” As for the Vegas cocktail waitress being played by Emmanuelle Chriqui, looks like she’ll be a far cry from Entourage’s well-heeled Sloane. “She is kind of representative of Jane at his lowest point,” says Yeoman, “so there’s a whole side of him that we’re going to see that we haven’t seen.”
Private Practice | If you’re among the many PPP fans who emailed me to ask if the whole Mason sitch might give Charlotte the itch to carry her own child, know that KaDee Strickland is one of you. “I pray that [series creator] Shonda [Rhimes] let’s Charlotte want her own child, because I think that would be so much fun,” the sunny Southerner told me. “But only Shonda can accept that invitation from the audience.” One story beat that titillates Strickland most? “Can you imagine Charlotte pregnant?” she asks. “Let’s just talk about that for a minute!”

UGH! I hate it when they dress things up like this as "spoilers" when it really isn't anything new. We already knew that Jane was going to lose it and shoot someone, we'd like a hint as to WHO!

ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought. But we're hearing so little about the finale compared to last season, that I'm starting to think that they actually won't reveal much more to us. Somehow it doesn't even bug me that much, maybe it'll be nice to be surprised =)
ReplyDeleteEh, I'm a lot more interested in Regina/Jefferson on OUAT and their history. They have the August thing going for Emma it would seem.

I agree- it's a possibility, and it sure as hell would explain why she can't be there for him when he hits rock bottom. If it happens, I bet it will be an accident of some sorts, because I absolutely can't imagine Jane shooting her intentionally... but it would be dramatic enough if she just gets in the line of fire somehow...

ReplyDeleteAfter all this time, Lisbon's always been there for him and then... why this girl Lorelai is with him now?!
It all makes sense.
Because Lisbon is his friend...he meets Lorelai and takes to her, as a lover...that's the difference. Just because he's sleeping with someone who isn't lisbon doesn't mean she's not trying to support him! Besides whose to say Lisbon wont be there for him? Or at least she'll probably try to be. Robin Tunney said as such in an interview recently.
ReplyDeleteReally? I'd hate to know who, or even get a hint. That seems to be the big 'surprise' of the finale, if we knew that then we'd pretty much know everything about it now. We didn't even get a whiff of Jane shooting anyone leading up to the S3 finale, that's why it was such a shock when it happened.
ReplyDeleteOf course Robin Tunney cannot say that she's the one who's gonna be shot or not, so we just gonna have to figure it out the possible ways how it will end the season.

ReplyDeleteYou're missing point, regardless of whether she's the shooting victim or not - Robin made a point in her interview of Lisbon being the one that supports him in the finale, the one that belives him whilst 'everyone else thinks he is red john or has a connection to him'. You were trying to suggest that he go's to Loralei because he doesn't have Lisbon for support, possibly because he shoots her. There is no link between Lisbon and loralei...none at all. Lisbon = janes best friend. Loralei= Jane's lover, his 'ray of light' in his darkest moment. The shooting will be another deal altogether. Of course, shippers will at least TRY and come up with something like "oh Jane is just getting another woman to tie us over till JISBON SQUEE". Ugh.

ReplyDeleteAnyway here's my view on the shooting: It could be Darcy or Wainwright, as they are the most dispensible. However, Owain saying it's someone "surprising" along with Robin saying (in the interview that I posted) that a few old characters will be returning, makes me think that it could be one of these returning characters we've not heard about yet...that would certainly make it 'surprising'. I CANT WAIT. IM SO EXCITED.
