  1. As much as I like Vex, I'm not sure about this. I wish the show would focus more on its existing regulars. Lauren barely gets any screentime as it is. And don't get me started on Hale. Hopefully his onscreen presence will be minimal, like it was in the season 2 finale. Same for Tamsin. Talk about unecessary.

  2. i suspect Hale could be the new Ash and Lauren is Bo's attempt as a real relationship so they should both be gaining screen time/importance.  Tamsin seems like an interesting character, and Lost Girl always needs more dark fae (well not Ryan)

  3.  I don't mind new characters as long as they don't screenhog - which is what Ryan did. I like my Dark Fae peeps in small doses. No recurring/guest character should EVER get more screentime than an original/regular character. Ever.

  4. Considering it seems that S3 will focus more on Dark Fae, just like S2 focused more on Light, I really really doubt that the dark will be "in small doses" .

  5. Vex has important knowledge as far as the Dark Fae are concerned, he has seen how powerful Bo is and will want to turn that to his advantage. I wonder if Tamsin is part of that or if she's the Morrigan's pet.  It's no fun if she's Light Fae.  Bo joining any side would make a huge power imbalance and I would guess the Dark want to harnass that power for themselves and the Light will want the same, with Bo's friends (including Hale) wanting to neutralise the danger she has become.

Hale becoming the Ash would make the Light more respectably good, he's shown flashes of political awareness trying to smooth things over for Dyson with the police and having Lachlan meet up with Trick rather than be used by both. It does sort of neuter the Light though, so if he is The Ash, I would expect the Light Fae Elders to be more than talked about to add the ambiguity that has already been estabished. We've seen the noble families are rather shady and backstabbing so for them all suddenly turn good guys would be odd.

I do hope we see more of the Fae traditions and divisions, I find it very frustrating that we get extraneous charaters brought in to take up space when there's so much they could do with what they've already got.

  6.  I don't mind the overall plot being Dark Fae centric. In fact, I actually prefer it. I meant in terms of pacing. I love Vex and The Morrigan and would like nothing more than to see more of them, but not at the expense of the regular characters. Pacing is the key here. What they did in the last two episodes of the season (2) with the Dark Fae arc sounds good to me. I just don't trust the writers to keep it up.

  7. Considering all of our primary characters, except for Bo and Kenzi, are light fae, having the dark take up the majority of the season is going to be very difficult to swing. Plus, the underlying fact is that the dark aren't very nice to humans, good for enemies, but not good for main characters. Bo was supposed to choose humans, and no way Kenzi is going to be all for the dark.

I thought Tamsin was supposed to be Dyson's new partner...and now she's dark? Totally confused.

  8. I don't think the writers understand pacing very well. xD

  9. We've got enough characters. I don't need to see Vex or this new chick in large quantities. What are they doing?

  10. It would really shake up the triangle if Tamsin was Bo's romantic choice.  I could see Lauren not being ready for anything heavy after Nadia and Bo being out of bounds for Dyson if she starts cosying up with the Dark.  The fact Tamsin is supposed to be dying gives them a great out re a short term Doc and Dyson bloc.

Trouble with that theory is that the new romances weren't that great last season.  I don't think it would go down that well with the gay fraternity either although the Tamsin character is pretty so it might.  They've been asking for Bo to have more girl action after Dyson and Ryan.

They'd have to give Lauren an arc though. I'm all for the geeks, I'd like to see Lauren have something more to do than mooch around Bo.  She's obviously the smart one, give her something smart to do.

  11. no she is a naughty light fae i think probably some kind of bird fae

  12. i think the romantic choice is Lauren and Tamsin is Bo's competition for both Dyson and Lauren

  13. Thanks, that sounds more reasonable.

  14. How is this not a clusterfae? These writers can't handle this many storylines, characters, and/or complications. ::worried::

  15. I don't mind Val but she has the most annoying Fae ability of any recurring character on the show.

  16. I like it, instant stfu-ability. Not sure how useful it is in general though. Coulda been handy with Ryan, would've made me like him (or Nadia for that matter) a lot more if they had been silenced the whole time ;)

  17. I don't think adding more permanent characters to the mix is a good idea. One of  the special things  about the show is the cast they have and their developing relationships from the beginning. I've watched Seasons ! & 2 and still think Bo & Dyson's chemistry is more intense than any other.

  18. "Not sure how useful it is in general though"

That's the main reason why I hate the ability so much - because it's practically useless except for annoying other people.  It's like the Fae evolutionary equivalent of being able to wiggle your ears or touch your nose with your tongue.

  19. When she showed up at the final battle, I thought they were going to do a ventriloquy trick with it and use it throw the baddies off or trick the Garuda...but they didn't...

  20. I'm hoping Tamsin will make Dyson look good. Certainly think KHR got a bit of a kick in his gallop when she came on board.  He's no match for Bo at the moment and he hasn't got much else to offer apart from being a Light Fae heavy, we need to see him develop.  I hated his 'sleep with me Bo' lines and off you be going to Lauren.  Neither served him well.  And if Val can stop him speaking in Celtland again,I'll be a happy camper.

  21. Hmmmm... not sure how I feel gotta wait and see I guess.

  22. Any relationship not with Bo isn't going to make Dyson look good to anyone who used to like him. And nothing is going to change the minds of team Lauren or think that he was being underhanded telling Lauren that she could be free. So right now, there really isn't anything that Tamsin can do to "fix" Dyson.

  23. Is she really Light Fae? Was that stated on the sides?

  24. lauren and bo should be together

  25. more lauren and bo screen time..pls...philippines

  26. I think that Lauren and Bo will make a good couple.Lauren understand what Bo has to do when she is hurt. With Dyson she will have to use him only.He will never let Bo be with anyone else even he knows he can not handle Bo sucking the life out of him  every chance she gets.I feel Bo can be in a relationship as long as that person understand what she is and what she need.

  27. I think Lauren and Bo should be together 100%. They have much more chemistry!!

  28. Let's remember that Bo put her friends under control with her blood in the season finale which can make her slip into the dark and she used the life essence on Trick and was afraid of slipping in the season finale. This completely opens up for more of the Dark Fae in season 3. I think it will be interesting to see Bo struggle to fight the darkness and Tamsin and Vex will be good characters to make her fight even harder.
