Thanks to FanGirl for the heads up.

It’s a fairytale come true for Cameron fans: House grad Jennifer Morrison will make an appearance in the show’s rapidly-approaching series finale.

Although a Fox spokesperson declined to comment, TVLine has learned exclusively that the actress — who’s currently casting a spell on ABC’s Once Upon a Time — recently shot a cameo in the May 21 swan song.

Morrison, whose comeback was OK'd by current employer ABC, joins a growing list of Princeton-Plainsboro alums checking back in before the final curtain falls. As TVLine previously reported, Olivia Wilde (Thirteen), Amber Tamblyn (Masters) and Kal Penn (Kutner) are also set to appear in the episode, titled "Everybody Dies."

  6. Oh. Never disliked any of House's lackeys, but also never got particularly attached to any of them either.

  7. havent watched since season 4 but i will def tune in for the series finale now!

  8. Hooray! Someone will have to be close to death if they're going to see Kutner. It would be great to have a huge flash back of all the staff.

  9. Omg!  The series finale i'ts gonna be great!!!

  10. All the characters will be in a church in the end as House walks past them towards the white light... "everyone dies... eventually"... fade to white and then we're back in the hospital, House lying on his back looking to the sky, smiling as he sees a plane fly overhead...

    Oh, wait...

  13. This is great news! Can't wait to see that! ;)

  14. Lovely news! (though now it just makes LE's absence even more evident... unless it's like this big secret surprise.... which I doubt but a girl can dream...)

  15. I totally love her, but for god's sake... if she can return, why can't Lisa too?!

  16. "...in the May 21 swan song..." Swan song? Rofl :D

    ReplyDelete
  17. well fortunately, one thing we can count on House never to turn into is religious...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Huh? What's funny about "swan song?"

    ReplyDelete
  19.  "Swan song" is a metaphorical phrase for a final gesture, effort, or performance given just before death or retirement.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Uh, yeah, duh. Why is it funny?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Never thought Lost would go all psycho-religious, either. Look how that turned out.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm guessing they found it funny because she plays Emma Swan in OUAT? I dunno though :\ I can't think of another reason.

  23. but somewhere in season 5 I realized there is no way they are gonna be able to give an ending that completely explain the massive pile of unanswered mysteries they have collected over the years... They had to go that way cuz really there was nothing else they could think of I guess. House is a procedural; it won't be difficult to give an ending without bringing in religious aspects. Plus, atheism is one of the qualities of House and he has defended atheism at several moments of the series.

  24. LOST didn't go "psycho-religious", and most of its mysteries were answered... (And the in-between place which originated back in Season 2, not Season 6, only answered one of the show's questions, and didn't serve as the show's actual ending... So it really has no place in this discussion either way. It's completely non-applicable.)

    ReplyDelete
  25. NO!!! Not another death finale!!!! We get it!! WE get it! Jesus cant someone do something original?

    ReplyDelete
  26. REALLY don't want to turn this into a discussion about Lost, but I have to know. What makes you think the "in-between place" originated in season 2?

    ReplyDelete
  27. you thought LOST answered most of the questions? then you haven't really watched or remember all of LOST... I can give you a whole list of questions that remained unanswered even after the 15 minute short "The New Man In Charge"... I mean, they have even admitted themselves they haven't answered everything... this is not news to anyone who has seen the show!
setting the last scene in a church...that's pretty religious according to me..

    ReplyDelete
  28. While I agree with you on everything else in this post, the so-called sideways world did not originate in season 2.

    ReplyDelete
  29. me neither... I'd rather not discuss it actually, but I will not concede that LOST answered everything and the finale was all awesome... I am a big LOST fan and I have recommended the show to friends even after the finale! but the fact is, the show did not answer some gaping questions and tried to brush it off saying that it's a character drama first and foremost and all character arcs were resolved instead of mysteries!! that was fucking ridiculous, I watched the show for the mysteries, not to see who Kate is going to hook up with next or something like that...

  30. Because it did... The first time we learned of a realm that existed in-between life and the afterlife was in Season 2, Episode 21: "?". Charlotte Malkin specifically told Eko that that's where she went when she died, and she met Yemi there.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sounds like you need to rewatch "?". Though it's pretty obvious that the writers probably didn't plan on re-using the concept of the in-between place at the end of the show when they came up with the concept, it's extremely clear that the concept originated back then.

    ReplyDelete
  32. If you think that LOST didn't answer most of its questions, you likely didn't pay close enough attention to it.

I never said that the show answered everything. It just answered far more than it left unanswered. In fact, of the important questions that actually had something to do with the main narrative, only about 10 questions (give or take by 1-3 or so depending on how you group certain questions together) went unanswered.

Now most of those answers weren't spoonfed to the audience like the Whispers, for example, but they were still given.

Also, it sounds like you need to rewatch the finale... The last scene of the show took place on the island, not in a church... (And the "church" was non-denominational. Even the characters who weren't religious appeared there.)

  33. So, living is original and dying is unoriginal? I believe since both have been done quite often (in fact living is even more frequent) a reasonable person would need more details to decide if the ending is original or not. There's only three ways to end a show, break the core structure (end Korean war, destroy Sunnydale), remove central character(s), or do nothing. There is no such thing as an original ending if you reduce the story to it's most simplistic form, ie, a death.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, I did found it funny because of the references to OUaT,  "fairytale come true", "currently casting a spell on ABC’s Once Upon a Time", "swan song". Nevermind, my mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  35. With that criteria they've mentioned the flash sideways on House too.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Ok, not religious, but spiritural, which is really a fine line. Either way, no chance of anything like that happening on House.

    ReplyDelete
  37. That's good news - I was never that much of a fan of Cameron but it's good she's back for the last episode. Shame they can't get Cuddy as well - just to round off all the originals.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm so happy!
She was always my favorite female character!
Welcome back Dr Allison Cameron <3

    ReplyDelete
  39. That's pretty much what I meant. And I can remember "?" quite well.

    ReplyDelete
  40. That's not even possible. If I wasn't paying attention, I would think more questions went unanswered than actually did.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I meant last scene of the sideways timeline; that was my bad, I did not mention it, but I thought it would obvious, so I didn't edit it.

You think the Whispers reveal wasn't spoonfed? hmmm...

As I said before, I really don't want to continue this discussion. Believe what you want. At least you don't-remember/don't-know/choosing-to-repress the big questions that went answered. I would rather you stay in that blissful ignorance than hate the show because of me.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Great news! She's my fave besides House and Wilson.

    ReplyDelete
  43. No, I was saying the Whispers reveal WAS one of the answers that was spoonfed. Many of the answers that we got were not.

It's too bad that you would rather think that I'm ignorant than bother admitting to yourself that the questions got answers or even putting in the work/research to see that the questions were answered...
