    so what disease has that patient got for mark to stop the surgery?
    totally drunk random that wasn't even that good looking compared to some of the other random's eg arizona's fling in tonight's epi.
    the rest of this season is so going to be a rollercoaster ride that give's you a headache - wear your helmet's and buckle in for the ride.

    Bailey cannot be chief because she has less than three years experience as an attending. You typically need many more years as an attending to be even considered.

    Wow, this looks SO intense... I'm relieved (for Cristina's sake) that Owen slept with a random girl and not someone she knew.  That would have driven the knife so much deeper.  Mark as chief for the day should be interesting.. can't wait!

    Am I the only one that is getting really bored with the drama between Owen and Christina? First the baby issue, now this. It just doesn´t interest me anymore. Hope they either break up or make up very very soon.

    I so hate Owen for this! Even more after I thought about how Cristina turned down Avery in season 6 ep 8, when they were only kissing and she and Owen were only dating or so? ('I'm involved.') Ugh, Cristina needs to get herself a new man who ACCEPTS HER FOR THE PERSON SHE IS. Not Burke, not Hunt!

    I agree, it is ruining the characters. I use to really like Christina, but now I really just don´t care so much anymore. I feel like they promised the fans to leave Mer and Der alone, so now they are focusing all their energy on making problems for C/O instead.

    And Owen needs to find a woman who accepts him for the person he is. ;-) I don't see why everyone has to "get" Cristina but Cristina does not have to "get" anyone.

    Owen only cheated on Cristina because she doesn't want kids. She doesn't want kids because she doesn't want to neglect them.. and she knows that's what she'd do because she's "married" to surgery. She didn't do anything wrong.. He did.. he held her hand during the abortion. Big fat loser could have said something then but didn't so it's his fault.. he didn't have to cheat on her that was just worse than Cristina not wanting kids and not letting Owen have a say in the matter.

    I don't think she doesnt want kids because she'd neglect them. That was just Meredith's opinion. Remember why she's "married" to surgery? It's because her dad died in front of her. I think she's afraid of caring too much about people. Also: why did she marry Owen then? If she's married to surgery I don't see why she had to marry Owen then ;-D He did say something. He said he wanted the child and that he didn't like how Cristina's deciding without him. She just did not listen and just thought that he has to "get" HER but never ever wanted to "get" HIM. He was only there holding her hand because Meredith basically accused him of killing Cristina and the baby if he does not support Cristina's decison. Of course he went to hold her hand! He loves her and I don't think he really likes himself that much. Cristina aborting the child was just like cheating. The only difference is that Owen will hate himself forever and Cristina will always think that she did the only right thing and will probably never apologise for what she did to him.

    There's really not much more they can do with MerDer, they're already married, they have an adopted daughter, I heard that their house is going to be finished by the end of the season in 1 of the spoiler.  We don't even know if either 1 of them is coming back for sure yet next season.

    you are so right! Owen is not a monster in this situation, just like Bailey said: he did a bad thing, that doesn't make him a terrible person. Cristina did something wrong too, she only think's of herself and what's good for her. Period
    everyone should see that, instead of just heating Owen

    No, I don't think anything would make it better - I'm just saying if he cheated with Teddy (which I thought was a possibility) it would make it infinitely worse for Cristina - having to work with her, seeing her every day, would be a constant reminder of what Owen did to her.  And being betrayed by her husband AND her mentor?  I think that would break her in more ways than she's already been broken.

    No worries, it's not just you - I was frustrated by it a LONG time ago. And I'm hoping they'll break up, because honestly, their marriage can't be salvaged at this point. The cheating is huge, obviously, but the baby issue is never going to go away. I think they just need to realize that the marriage is hurting them more than anything else, and move on.
