Glee, Raising Hope, and New Girl renewed

THIS JUST IN: Fox has issued early renewals to Glee, New Girl and Raising Hope.

“Over the past season, NEW GIRL has become the hottest new appointment series for young adults; RAISING HOPE has established itself as one of the smartest and most unique offbeat comedies on television; and GLEE has continued its success as a genre-defying, global cultural phenomenon,” said Fox president Kevin Reilly. “All three of these comedies add a fresh and distinctive flavor to our Tuesday nights, and I’m really happy to bring them back to our air next season.”

  6. Fuck yes Raising Hope I wasn't expecting that at all!

  7. OUIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

I couldn't be happier that Raising Hope is renewed. This show is incredibly funny, and the whole cast is just superb, especially Garret Dillahunt and Cloris Leachman (who deserves an 8th Emmy Award).

I love you Klutzy, I love you FOX. As a commercial for a credit card could say : "Going on the toolbar, clicking on the SpoilerTV icon, seeing 'Raising Hope renewed' : priceless."

This press release kind of puts the final nail in Breaking In's coffin, sadly. I will miss this little show, not as funny as Raising Hope but definitely worth watching, although this current season doesn't live up to the first one, mainly because Megan Mullally's character is kind of annoying and it sucks that Michael Rosembaum isn't around anymore (same for Odette Annable who left after 3 episodes because of House).

  8. No surprises here, these 3 shows were the safest for the network.

  11. Great stuff about Raising Hope. So funny.

Glee was a no-brainer. New Girl would have been cancelled if it wasn't for Zooey Deschanel.

  12. Raising Hope is ridiculously underrated IMO -- the fact that it's severely overshadowed by Zooey Deschanel's vehicle is a crime.

  13.  I know!!!
However,Matt Mitovich just teased Fringies on twitter so, fingers crossed we'll have good news soon!!!

  14. Good for New Girl, I like that show. I'm happy for Raising Hope fans, there was some doubt that it would be back, but I'm happy for them. Boo to Glee. was hoping it would get cancelled (maybe next season when the ratings tank even harder after the cast leaves).
Now I'm just worried about the little show on Friday that rhymes with "cringe".

  15. I told ya. Fox gains nothing by caning dear baby Hope right now. They need it for the Glee-breaks.

    Glad your happy. :)

  16. Absolutely no surprises all three deserved to be renewed.

My guess is Touch will get a late decision and everything else will be cancelled.

  17. I'm very happy!  Now i need to hear that Fringe is renewed, then you'll be me crazy happy!

  18. I'm so happy just for Raising Hope! I would have preferred to read about the renewal of Breaking In and Fringe. I don't watch/like anything else on Fox.

  19. Good to hear!  I don't watch Raising Hope, but I'm definitely a fan of both Glee and New Girl.

  20. Yeah for Glee and New Girl, I've tried to watch Raising Hope but I just can't get into it.

  21. I don't really care for Glee, and I wasn't too worried for New Girl, however SO FREAKIN' EXCITED & RELIEVED for Raising Hope!!!!

  22. Woo hoo for Raising Hope!

  23. Not surprised at all about Raising Hope.

  24. Not really surprised but I thought there was a chance Hope might not make the cut.

  25. YAY! Double yay for me because I like New Girl and Raising Hope both so much! They're my favorite shows! I don't watch Glee, but I'm sure the Glee fans are happy!

  26. So psyched about the (surprising) renewal of "Raising Hope"! It's one of the funniest comedies on network TV, in my opinion, and I'm glad Fox is sticking with yet despite the numbers.
One less favorite to worry about!
