If you want spoilery information you can find pretty much anything about anyone or anywhere in A Song of Ice and Fire at A Wiki of Ice and Fire here: http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Main_Page
They have it broken down in a few categories on the right like Chapter Summaries, Characters, Geography, Culture etc... or you can use the built-in search function (on the left) and enter in the character name you want to know more about.
The first base entry tends to be non-spoilery, but when you get to the history or book breakdown it is completely spoilers.
I was wondering about Patchface too. I don't think he's been cast though has he?
He is interesting and odd, and he does provide some prophetical insight if you know how to interpret his songs, but I'm not sure he is needed this year really. As much as I enjoyed trying to decipher his songs! XD
I definitely don't want spoilers, this is just too good! Just a little background, i'll check out Wiki,....The books i'll read at a later date, maybe during the summer, but they would have come in handy when i lost power for 2 days,i wound up reading 2 books, and cleaning.Needless to say reading was more enjoyable!! :D
Do NOT read past the first synopsis for any character on the wiki then!
Like I said, the first paragraph is broad and general but informative. they usually have an Appearance blurb that is sometimes spoil filled but usually spoiler free.
After that it is all spoilers so just read the first category of each page.... or play it safe and avoid the site altogether! XD
I still have his voice from the audiobook ringing in my mind: “Under the sea, it snows up,” said the fool, “and the rain is dry as bone. I know, I know, oh, oh, oh.”
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I really need to find out more about these characters.Stannis and Darvos looks interesting..
ReplyDeleteAbout Davos backstory there are some things revealed in the books. Stannis on the other hand is still a bit of a mystery for me.
ReplyDelete"Screw you to his sister". :D I like their choice with him entering with his armor.
ReplyDeleteWhy not Patchface singing around in the Dragonstone scenes? ;)

ReplyDelete"Under the sea the crows are white as snow, I know, I know, oh, oh, oh.”
ReplyDeleteI both hated and adored him! XD
