These are great! I'm in the middle of watching anatomy of a scene,i'm just drinking it all in! I really can appreciate so much more, now that i'm watching the series!
Did you watch it last night with HBO GO? I didn't but i plan on watching this episode again with it.
I did and I posted the interactive video features in the updated post here: http://www.spoilertv.com/2012/04/game-of-thrones-season-2-interactive.html
I combined the 8 videos into one for convenience sake. The rest of the interactive material is mostly bio pictures with bried bio blurbs as certain characters are present on screen. Then when they changed to a new location they had the interactive map available with some regional notes.
I found the videos most interesting, but I knew the people and the regional info from the books.
The videos are very interesting, last night when i stated to watch HBO GO i saw Joffeys, but since my laptop is only 15" i stopped and watched the rest on my TV.If they do this a lot i will connect my laptop to the TV so i can both running at the same time and i won't have to worry about it not being in sync. This is all great stuff, love it and dare i say MORE PLEASE!!
Yep Game of Thrones has the most supplemental videos of any TV series I have watched.
Every week there will be a recap, a preview of the next episode, an Inside the Episode and often times there will be a couple extra clips dealing with characters or settings or BTS footage etc... Of course that is not counting the dozen or more trailers and featurettes prior to the season too! XD
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ha.. we have been uploading over one another all night! XD
ReplyDeleteHBO does this for each one of its dramas. Another awesome thing about HBO!
ReplyDeleteThey have the best promotional machine in TV media (for their top series).
