That awesome moment when the person who asked it is....you! (me) :)
ReplyDeleteGO FRINGE! Hoping for a FULL Season 5, however, will settle for a 13 ep one too.
ReplyDeleteFringe should be renewed. I don't really care about Alcatraz or TheFinder. I like Touch, but I won't be heartbroken, if they would cancel it. GO FRINGE!
ReplyDeleteI don't think he would have tweeted that unless they had pretty much reached a deal for another season. I'm still going for a shortened final season which is cool I can live with that and it means things will be wrapped up nicely.
ReplyDeleteOh that is so awesome!
ReplyDeleteHe later added that it was a 13 episode season he was positive about, and not a 22 episode season.
ReplyDelete"@JWFRINGE So how optimistic are you guys? If the news is good, do you expect it to be good to the amount of 13 or to the amount of 22? ;)"
"@birdandbear Feeling good. 13."
He also said... (SMALL SPOILER)
That the amber title sequence will stay until at least the season finale, but that there will be a "cool" title sequence for episode 19.
Look forward to the title sequence and yes 13 seems most realistic but it is also good encourages them to focus on the story and bringing it to a satisfying conclusion.
ReplyDeleteThank God we will know. I was hoping to know before the season finale because watching that without knowing would have been torture. And they finished filming yesterday so at last they will know for sure, too.
ReplyDeleteFringe season 5! Yes! This show deserves this so much! I´m also still hoping for 22 ep. renewal but since the producer twitted feeling good 13 it seems if renewal than olnly 13 ep.- anyway I would be very very thankful and happy for 13 ep. too but if so than please let it be NOT the last season - wouldn´t it be not realistic to continue the show with 13 ep. renewal every time till the whole Fringe story is told????!!!! I wish I could have Dr.Walter Bishop and his gang for longer than till the beginning of 2013!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the information! Well, 13 eps is better than nothing, but a full goodbye season would've been great. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Title Card info as well :)
FINALLY we will know more this week!
ReplyDeleteGO FRINGE#05
I know it wouldn't be a full 22 epi season but I will be pretty damn happy with 13 epi's !!!
*keepsfingerscrossed*
♥
YUP!!!
ReplyDeleteAre the two parts of "Over There" considered seperate episodes? Because unless they split up the pilot, there's only going to be 99 episodes with a 13 episode wrapup season.
ReplyDeleteYes they split up the pilot into two episodes for syndication. Or they will. So at the end our season four there will be 87 episodes but 88 hours of Fringe. So 13 more would put us at 100 episodes with 101 hours for syndication. Im,wondering whether they'll air the 'Unearthed' episode as a part of season 1 or season 2.
DeleteGO FRINGE, GO!!!!
ReplyDeleteI will try to keep fingers crossed until the announcement of the decision... ;-)
MY FINGERS ARE CROSSED SO HARD ..
ReplyDeleteI never thought there wouldn't be a Season 5,but i will wait for the official announcement.
ReplyDeleteGreek? To onoma soy 8umizei ligo pantws. . .
ReplyDelete::Fingers Crossed::
ReplyDeletedid you just said "be a better man then your father" or I watched to much Fringe?
ReplyDeleteI know I'm being selfish and ungrateful when I say 13 isn't enough but when you use mediocre shows like Bones going longer it pisses you off.
ReplyDeleteF(r)ingers Crossed :|
ReplyDeleteHope for the best. Fringe deserves at least another season even if it's not a full one.
ReplyDeleteYou are unfair to Bones, it was good for the most part of first three seasons. After that? It all went shippy
ReplyDeleteThose shows have nothing to do with Fringe's decision, Fringe solely depends on Fox's decision to renew it or not.
ReplyDeleteYes Greek! :) You too, right?!
ReplyDeleteNo that would be: "Gine kalytero anthropo apo ton patera tou" :)
ReplyDeleteYou're famous! Now what will you do?
ReplyDeletelol
The ideal decision is a full 5th season on Thursdays. Let's hope we will get it, but if not, we will compromise on something else (a good reversed psychology trick to ease my stress).
ReplyDelete13-episode seasons are usually better because they are able to trim the fat/keep off the excess and focus mostly on the arc/characters,etc. of the show... that's why cable dramas are always so exciting and loved.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's "Over There Pt. 1" and "Over There Pt. 2"...they aired them over the course of 2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteBones is terrible now. It was always mediocre though
ReplyDeleteOoh boy. That's a shame about no movie, but maybe in a few years they'll try for one. Look at Firefly. Between a movie and one final season, I'd much, much rather have the final season. GO FRINGE!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah but Firefly still had a lot of stories to tell, Fringe should hopefully be wrapped up next season, its way too serialised to work as a movie.
ReplyDelete6 seasons and a movie! :)
ReplyDeleteCool! Thanks for all the info! :D
ReplyDeleteI worried, because I was really surprised and thought it was lucky we had a season 4, but reading Mr. Wyman tweet this makes me feel pretty good and optimistic!
ReplyDeleteWell if they are going to hype the announcement I seriously hope it is good news and a renewal!
ReplyDeleteIt would suck to think they hyped the cancellation.... Seriously!
"If you can dream a better world, you can make a better world."
ReplyDeleteFringe has done that for me and so I will still hold on for a full season pick up.
"In the end I have to believe in HOPE"
Why is that ideal considering the talks of a big budget cut? No, Ideal is 13 episodes with no filler since the decision was made to cut the budget due to loss of money.
ReplyDeleteI think like Darque Mode said: Why would he hype a cancellation? He wouldn't. This is a clue folks. What I take from this is that there will be a final season since they dropped talks of a movie. Only reason for a movie is to tie it all up in the case of cancellation.
ReplyDeleteHAhahahahahhaa!!! No,i said that his name is remind me a greek name!!!
ReplyDeleteYes I am!!! Fysika kai ellhnas! yparxei kai ellhniko blog gia to Fringe na 3ereis...

ReplyDeleteHaha! I can't say that!, I'm a VIP now lol :D
ReplyDeletetotally agree!
ReplyDeleteNo, it isn't. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Season 4 of Breaking Bad is a perfect example.
ReplyDeletePlease, please renew it! Even for just a 13 episode final season! One of the best shows out there!
ReplyDeleteI am really hoping they get to make another season even it it's just 13 episodes.
ReplyDeleteYou know, that reminds me. I took a picture, but never submitted it. Here it is; sorry about the quality. I didn't want to write on my hand, so I fiddled with my webcam and came up with this:
ReplyDeletePlease renew us!!
ReplyDeleteTHERE HAS JUST GOTTA BE A SEASON 5...OR I WILL SIMPLY DIE!!!!
ReplyDeleteAfter the Glee/New Girl/Hope renewal news. I've been waiting for word on Fringe. I thought we'd find out before Upfronts. Been feeling good all season there'd be a renewal for a final go. FINGERS CROSSED.
ReplyDeleteDONT CANCEL!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm not the superstitious sort but I'm going to cross my fingers, throw some salt over my shoulder, make sure any horseshoes I have are pointed up and I'm gonna go find me a rabbit's foot or two. Some blackmail material about FOX executives wouldn't hurt either.
ReplyDeletepls share and VOTE if ya can.... we are losing this poll http://www.cinemaspy.com/spotlight/which-sci-fi-tv-series-would-you-save-alcatraz-awake-fringe-or-sanctuary-13157/
ReplyDelete2 days left in it...losing to sanctuary
ReplyDeleteNicely Done!
ReplyDeleteFRINGE FIVE
Firefly was just under-rated and ahead of it's time! - As with many shows: American Gothic
ReplyDeleteReaper, just to name a couple. They give us interesting shows - with great potential- expect them to be instant break-outs & if they aren't over night sensations, they bail. Give them time and they will prove to be "worthy" of Studio backing.
But in all fairness, Firefly was only on for one season- of course it had plenty of places & stories to tell. Where as Fringe (and this is by NO means my way of saying Let Fringe Go)- has a few years and has told many stories - and one long inter-twined one. A movie would be a GIFT to die hard fans, but would be almost LOST to those who weren't completely involved.
I would be happy, Happy, HAPPY - should we receive another season of Olivia, Peter, Walter and the rest of our Fringe family....... regardless of 13 or 22 (yes, 22 would be better- but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth) episodes ! ! !
See ya on the Other Side!
Those shows do have some influence on Fringes decision. Fox does not want to cancel all of their shows, because they would have to many premiers, or not enough shows to fill timeslts and compete with other networks. But they also do not want to keep shows that have no future, and basically are a waste of time. If They cancel The Finder, they are less likely to cancel another show. House, Terra Nova have been cancelled already. This leaves openings for a few new shows, they usually only start 2-4 premiers at a time so that means the odds are in Fringes favor if The Finder, Alcatraz or both are cancelled. Cancelling other shows also, helps the budget of remaining one.
ReplyDelete13 episodes season is also easier on budget and depending if the ratings stay the same for season 5, we could get a season 6 with 13 episodes. Although it is unlikely.
ReplyDeleteOMG this my thought,a season 5 and 6 with 13 episodes =$$$$
ReplyDeleteFox Wb take my money!!
Fingers Crossed
That'd be nice, but I would rather the writers have a definite end date to plan a finale around; than hinge on a possible sixth season that would never come.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. :) It's a huge chance for Fringe if you think about it differently!
ReplyDeleteBruce, don't forget to turn around 3 times! :)
ReplyDeleteYou and i and a few others were the only ones that truly believed there would be a 5th season, knew it going all the way to October...Faith! :D
ReplyDeleteI've been saying we would have another season since last October, but that's not to say i wasn't worried..But somewhere inside i just knew it was going to happen without a doubt. I can't see Mr Wyman tweeting about this if he wasn't sure it was going to happen, but last minute snafus do occur that is why i was waiting before i go absolutely bonkers! I know i didn't seem to thrilled this morning but i wound up with such a migraine,i had to get off, wound up sleeping all day and i only got back on a half hour ago maybe..So lets be optimistic but i wouldn't hurt to keep the fingers, toes and anything else you can think of crossed! :D Shhh,i so excited!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool, thanks for passing on the info! Oh and keep tweeting!! :)
ReplyDeleteIf its Fringe Fat i'll take it.I never tire of seeing them... :)
ReplyDeleteThat was you? So cool! Please, keep on tweeting! :)
ReplyDeleteHa i like your thinking! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping everything crossed!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this has been mentioned, but to go along with this, he made another comment that could be nothing, but it could also be a POTENTIAL HUGE SPOILER for the season finale and for season 5:
ReplyDeleteSomeone asked, if the amber sequence is here until the finale, can we at least get the blue back for season five. JWFRINGE said (again POTENTIAL HUGE SPOILER)...
"All will become clear ;)"
Obviously they are planning something big for the finale, but this seems to imply another big universe shift or (more likely) a merging of all the universes. Or he could just be making a joke.
Or white, maybe. White is all colors combined, so it would be appropriate for a season where (presumably) all the universes are joined. It would also tie into the glyph codes for The Last Sam Weiss and The Day We Died. which are (respectively) "Multi" and "No More".
ReplyDeleteI hope there is going to be a season 5. Due to the fact there's only a couple more episode's to come out. I dont think the whole storyline could add up into a fue episode's ( Does Anybody else).
ReplyDeleteFringe has hundreds of thousand fan's. I honestly think this will not be fringe's last season.
Lets hope for the best x
You bet ya! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha it's a good idea right? :D
ReplyDeleteIt's saturday... WHERE'S MY FREAKIN' FIFTH SEASON?!
ReplyDeleteAnd this is why you should never listen to the people who don't get to make that decision.
ReplyDelete
