I think she could die, or be taken away (that is if there is a season 5), but saving the universe(s) always coincides with saving her...so fighting the future, most likely also resolves itself, by saving Olivia...but it may be that they will have to go back again to save her by the end of the series...
The film Nior Aspect (Casablanca--Kiss of Death) along with mild nods to the eight ball (Ella gives hers to Olivia and the episode title "Concentrate and Ask Again" alludes to "shake" for different RESULTS) reminds me of Felicity...I could see the FRINGE ending in a similar manner...
Honestly I'm of the exact opposite mind. If a show teases someone must die to save the world, to avoid their death for too long or avoid the death altogether cheapens the series. Even if I like a character a lot like Olivia.Too many characters stay alive too long on TV series... or worse die and come back multiple times.
I normally am all for things not ending on a happy note as it's more realistic if it's bittersweet. But where Fringe's concerned I want my happy ending!
You know... Anna... You know... I sooo Love.. You ...{but this you don't know} ...you know... and yes everybody dies eventually but not your character, dear!!! Agree with cabby Henry... DARN I soo love this woman, you know!!!! ^^ ♥
I agree.... For a while last year and as this year began I thought that Peter may still be in the machine or the machine may still be on and unable to shut down and Olivia (the crowbar) would have to enter it to shut it down and lock it shut. Basically breaking the machine and rendering it useless and in the process sacrificing herself...
Don't think that now, but I still think she could and maybe should die.
Oh yeah I forgot about the whole crowbar thing yeah that really made me think she might die then. I think with all the different versions of Olivia and timelines and universes even if we say goodbye to one doesn't mean we say goodbye to them all.
I hope that she doesn't die, and if she do it will be at the end of next season... i'm doubtful they are going to kill off Our Olivia but hey this is Fringe we cant never know ^^
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I want Henry back too!
ReplyDeleteCan someone please tell what she says at the end of the interview? she kinda lower her voice at the end and i cant understand what she's saying
ReplyDeleteI just need to know if there's going to be 5th season.
ReplyDeleteOlivia can't die!!!
ReplyDeleteOnly when the show ends and that's not S4, right? Right?
Can't wait for Friday.
What was that with the dream? Did you just say something you should have or you really just mixed up the episodes?
ReplyDeletehaha I was thinking the same
ReplyDelete"And I guess that's kinda sort of what they've been looking at in the last little bit, in amongst saving the world"

Actually, I thought Olivia would fake her own death last season; and this season would be about the Fringe team trying to deal with her "death".
ReplyDeletewould be nice if fox would let them wehter they are cancled or not so the ycan plan accordingly

Kinda fun...
ReplyDeleteThe much rumored FRINGE trading cards seem to actually be coming out finally.

I'm not a trading card person, but it is Fringe.....
I am not too sure how I feel about that?! lol!
