Fringe - Episode 4.19 - Teaser #3 *UPDATE* Teaser 1 & 2 Added

13 Apr 2012

Wymann tweeted this cryptic teaser for next week's episode.

Teaser #3

There seems to be both forward and backwards audio in the video...
I think I hear played normally...
"Agents, what seems to be the matter?"
"I trust you have papers?"

Teaser #3 [Backmasked]

The backmasked audio bits are September (I think?) asking "What are you doing Agent?" and then someone says the word "Hope" I think Peter maybe..

*****UPDATE*****

  1. Cryptic? I can't make heads or tails from this!

  2. This episode is going to be like being on Walter's home made LSD whilst listening to Violet Sedan Chair.

  3. I found the 3rd part of the youtube link! there's what we have for now:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gu8iAo
but it is not the link yet, because there are 4 pieces of the link... let's just hope for the teaser to come ASAP...

  4. Your right Darque now i hear it! I think i heard Peter say a word or two, yep,What are you doing agent" is definitely there and Hope.... Cool first time i heard it played back.

  5. I grabbed a few screencaps for people to attempt to decipher... Enjoy. XD

The sign behind the man (looks  a bit like Desmond) walking into the building reads "WE WILL TAKE BACK" I believe....

    ReplyDelete
  6. If you listen a few times you will be able to make out a few words.

    ReplyDelete
  7. It does look a bit like Desmond but i think the guy in the photo has a stash and beard, the sign behind him says We will take back,i wonder what they want to take back?
Did you notice the waitress in the shot of all the Observers? I wonder if she has hair?

  8. You might as well call him Desmond.

  9. I'm so curious about this "observer's palace" XD
These letters looks a bit like english, thanks to those teasers. I think they put the word "heed" next to the parallel word in this language of "heed". Maybe in the future the dialect will change which will cause this change. we can see also "serve" next to its parallel word, but the one picture in the left is unrecognized. It seems like it connected to "obey" but it doesn't look like it. But still you can see that the word "E" in this language appear at the same place in the word so it must be it. Maybe they're not so similar after all :)

  10. 3/4 v=Gu8iAo I don't know if last letter/number is 'o' or '0' xD super exciting, can't wait, now that we know this is the breakthrough episode.

  11. This one seems to focus more on "NO HOPE" than anything else. When "hope" has always been a theme of Fringe...

    ReplyDelete
  12. Have the earlier teases been posted? I uploaded 1 and 2 in case and I'm backmasking audio now....

    ReplyDelete
  13. Why is everyone keep calling him Desmond? HIC is much more convenient.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Wait, what is backmasking? Sorry if it's a dumb question :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wouldn't it be hilarious if the completed link to us to a Youtube video that gave us our answer on Cancellation/Renewal?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Nice shot of GH! So excited! Thanks for these!

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's reversing the audio.. also known as back masking.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Couldn't get the link to work. Message was the URL contained a malformed something or other.

  19. Teaser #1:
DRJ saying "Negative or native, the killing cannot stand. Not on my watch." (I think?)

    Teaser #2:
"Your Division was in charge of native crime. Would you rather I was in charge of Native Crime?" said by an Observer... possibly hte King Observer....

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thanks a million! I think there are other words on the left side of the sign, but the only one I can make out is "that." We......will....take that back.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I wondered if they played the translated phrase too, but did not try to decode the language...

    ReplyDelete
  22. Teaser #2 Caps:
The red NO appears before each black background phrase.
The cap with the diamond overlays looks to be an Observer briefcase being opened...

    ReplyDelete
  23. LOL! That's an excellent idea.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Teaser #1 Caps:
I cannot make out the one photo whatsoever and like before each black background phrase was preceded by a red NO.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Opps... forgot to add caps HA!

  26. 2/4 be.com/watch?

  27.  I am very intrigued by all of this and the more I see the more I pray to god that Fringe is renewed.  The prospect of a "both universes vs. dystopian future" Fringe has me grinning from ear to ear.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Is it me or is the cross / x type symbol in this like the one on the guys shirt in 3.19 and olivia said "i think he's going to kill me" or something like that

    ReplyDelete
  29. Maybe the final part to the Youtube will be during the promo after the episode tonight.

That way the "this week" promise will still be fulfilled :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'm really intrigued by these teasers too!
It appears the Observers (or whoever they work for) is basically a dictator in the future. The End of Dayers come across in a whole new light if they are working against a tyrannical regime... as do the Observers if they are working with said regime!

It almost fits into my thought earlier this week that DRJ is the "good guy" trying to avoid this future dystopian future.... and I wonder where team Fringe fit into the equation more and more....

    ReplyDelete
  31. Tony is that you?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Freaky!  More Observer mythos?   These things make me all bouncy.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Let's hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The link is parts 1,2, and 3 combined, but we are still missing part 4 which will complete the YouTube link.

    ReplyDelete
  35.  I like your theory about RDJ but, if it is true, I wonder why the guy doesn't just say something instead of putting everyone through hell?

    ReplyDelete
  36. The audio and brief image of Henry Ian Cusick has got me even more excited!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think there are 5 digits missing from the code... what if the 5 digits are the Fringe glyphs from tonight's episode?
    Hmmm......

    ReplyDelete
  38. Robert Downey Junior?

    ReplyDelete
  39.  My typing fingers are dyslexic.  What's it to ya?  :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ha! sic em lol....

    ReplyDelete
  41. That would be the Fringe way of telling us.....

    ReplyDelete
  42. I bet they've already put it up there, but left it 100% private until after tonight's episode (or whenever the code is complete). Then they'll publish it to the masses :)

Although that part about the glyph would be REALLY cool!

    ReplyDelete
  43. These teasers are amazing and this episode looks amazing...can't wait!

    ReplyDelete
  44. You know I am really surprised that we got that tweet and it's Friday and we've heard nothing...So I hope your right! -I don't think I can wait till Monday!

    ReplyDelete
  45. When I played teaser 3 regular I thought I heard " I want to be sent to another time." or " blah blah... just like any other time."  and then, "I trust you have papers?"

But that middle part is weird and it sounds like Peter
The "I trust you have papers" sounds like Lee

But Darque, you have done some GREAT work!

    ReplyDelete
  46. That would be interesting indeed! I like the idea of that, especially when I look back to what ever was going on with John Mosley..."rogue Observers" FTW!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Maybe they plan on announcing it at the end of the episode?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Fringetelevision has this as the quote I think you heard ...
    "
No matter, we're just heading out of town. "

I didn't realize they had the teases and more and better screencaps. Oh well. I liked doing it and they did not have the backmasked audio. *shrug*

    ReplyDelete
  49. hey but who's that blonde women ? Did I miss something ?

    ReplyDelete
  50. That's the episode guest star Georgina Haig who will play Etta... I thought she was going to be Ella but not according to this...
    http://tvline.com/2012/03/08/georgina-haig-fringe/

According to the story her role has recurring potential. I wonder if that relates to  the rumors that Episode 4.19 will set up Season 5 if the show is renewed?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Was there ever a 4th part of the youtube code, or was that a dead-end? I still haven't seen the episode :-(

    ReplyDelete
  52. There was at least 3 or 4 of us looking for a code and none of us saw one sadly. Hopefully a new teaser video #4 will be released today or tomorrow....

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'm not too sure if that it's Jones speaking, maybe another Observer; the leader Observer?

In the backmasked Teaser #2 I think maybe they're saying "He died" and "agent"

    ReplyDelete
  54. Probably right....
I was converting the videos and uploading as I listened so I did not pay complete attention. Seeing as a few of the clips we have seen say "Agent" it certainly makes more sense... and with Walter in amber "He died" makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  55.  LOL What you didn't even give me a "LIKE" for that,lol........

You do realize i was joking! !  :D

    ReplyDelete
  56. I don't just dish out 'likes' willy-nilly, you know? But luckily I had a couple of spares :P

    ReplyDelete
  57. Ha,that was very kind of you!  :D

Don't be a stranger! I'll keep my eye open for you!  :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. And he's using that adorable Scottish accent.
