Dexter - Season 7 - Casting News - Ray Stevenson joins cast

In the first piece of casting for the show’s upcoming seventh season, Dexter has tapped Rome actor Ray Stevenson to join the ensemble in a major recurring role, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The Irish thesp will play a high-ranking member of an Eastern European crime ring who arrives in Miami determined to learn who killed one of his associates.

No further details were available, including whether Stevenson will function as the new season’s Big Bad.

     I like Ray Stevenson.  He was by far the best big screen version of The Punisher and I was disappointed they didn't give him more to do in Thor.

    I like Stevenson a lot  so this is mostly good news!
    I say mostly because I was hoping he would get a role on Game of Thrones. Maybe Victorian Greyjoy or Mace Tyrell.... Oh well.

    Let me guess....
    Dexter killed the associate, Ray Stevenson goes and looks for who did it, finds out it's Dexter, and Dexter must find a way not to get caught in the cross hairs of both the police and the Russians.
    Love Dexter but let's hope this coming season is a lot better than the last two!

    Probably the best gladiatorial fight I have ever seen on film, right up there with Gladiator's and way above any of the over-the-top ridiculousness on Spartacus....
