CW - Pilot test screenings have begun, Selection looking strong

The CW has begun test screenings for it's pilots.

According to some sources who were at The Selection screening the pilot is really strong and they will definitely watch it if it gets picked up however is it extremely similar to the Hunger Games and needs to show more originality/ deviate from the Hunger Games format in future episodes.

    I dont care about The CW, but The Selection is a sure thing. It`s The CW thing. They picked up The Vampire Diaries when Twilight went up. The Selection is going up because of The Hunger Games.

    Yes, Vampire Diaries came right after Twilight was so popular. But Vampire Diaries, now, is really good and much better compared to the crap that is Twilight novels. I haven't watched Hunger Games but I critics have liked it a lot more than any part of Twilight....hope Selection will be as good or better than that...

    While its not something I would watch done right the CW should be able to capitalise on the HungerGames popularity and find themselves a new hit show.  Hopefully the CW suprise us and pick up a whole host of new shows for next season they certainly need to. I'm being optomistic and saying they pick up 4/5 of the 8 pilots to series.

    But looking at CW's track record then Selection might be the ONLY show that survives the next season since CW shows that doesn't capitalise on current trends flop. Secret Circle is likely to be the only show that survives this round and it's not because its ratings are good. Without TVD as its lead-in, it would probably have flopped too.

    The CW is my favorite network, so I don't care if The Carrie Diaries becomes a hit, as long as it helps the netlet. Since The Hunger Games is also my favorite movie and I'll be willing to watch The Selection. Hopefully, they'll pick Arrow, Shelter and B&B

    they better pick it up. the book is amazing! everythinh says its like The Hunger Games, but personally i think its more The Batchelor than The Hunger Games

    well i am a fan of the Hunger Games, and it should be intersting to see how the producers manage to make this proyect a successful show , although i don't think "The Selection" would ever trump the actual "Hunger Games" franchise.
