    I feel it's quite sad when a parent tries to keep a college-age kid at home by appearing needy. It's selfish from Castle. I understand the feeling but Alexis should not include her dad's need for lazertag games in her choice of a college.

    Give him a break, Alexis.  Dear old dad isn't just a writer anymore.  The guy deals with murder on a daily basis and his life is in danger all the time.  He's not being childish.  He's blowing off steam and spending quality time with his daughter all at once.  Don't let your urge to grow up get in the way with your relationship with your dad.
