    I still think she is talking to Lanie maybe and it was just cut together with the shot of Castle. Because when you actually see her talking it seems like the other person is having long hair (0:23).
    But that doesn't mean I'm not excited about that scene =) I just don't wanna expect too much so that I won't be disappointed ;)

    I think it can't be Lanie. Beckett is looking up. Lanie's definitely not taller than her. In fact, I don't think there's another woman taller than Beckett on the show. My guess is that she is indeed talking to Castle.
