The case was too sidelined, as has been the case this season in general. But the family stuff was pretty good and had some real stuff. I speak as an older child who had a younger sibling from my mother's later marriage come in to play. And Hodgins, Angela, Cam and Clark were all charming as well. So while I wish the show would get back to doing more CRIME and DRAMA as part of it's mixture, it was nice for a sweeter one.
So the show is slowly, but surely getting better, certainly from the first episode being back from break this year. So I guess I'm okay to give this show a bit more latitude given all it's weird real life issues and scheduling around that. And the show continues to some overall improvement. Certainly remembering Parker helped with that.
So I'm willing to give the show a few more weeks. I want to see how they end it, and more importantly in next year, when they don't have all the issues related to ED's pregnancy to deal with, I need to see more drama and less comedy on the show. Fine to have a mix of them, show has always had it. But it needs to remember it's dramedy and add more drama.
Who wants to bet Brennan and Booth got their daughter expelled for being super over-protective? Haha I love it though... and this case looks... interesting? It's nice to see Ryan O'Neal back, too. Maybe the daycare thing was his fault?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This looks great.
