    Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I think that Elena might be on the phone with Jeremy when she says that "Something really terrible has happened to Alaric." Jeremy does have a ring too and it would be a good way to reintegrate him into the show. Like I said maybe it's just wishful thinking (Jeremy's my favorite character and I've missed him), but hopefully not.

    Either way, I'm excited to see what happens with Alaric and the possession plot line (if that's what you'd call it).
