Titanic is the extraordinary re-telling of the doomed voyage that cleverly weaves action, mystery and romantic plots featuring fictional and historical characters from different classes, cultures and religions. Each episode follows one set of characters from the beginning of the voyage to its tragic end. Written by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey), starring Linus Roache (Law & Order), Geraldine Somerville (The Harry Potter films), Canadians Noah Reid (Score: The Hockey Musical), Linda Kash (Cinderella Man) and David Eisner (Flashpoint)
Titanic premieres tonight in Canada on Global TV.

  4. God, i can't think of anything more unappealing than watching a show where in every single episode I get to watch a different group suffer trauma, misery and probably death by the same disaster, over and over and over again! Waaauugh.

  5. For the people who also watch Dr. Who the new companion is in this series. No clue how big her role is but I saw her name on the cast list

  6. Early reviews have been brilliant. Not a surprise. BBC has a history of amazing mini-series.

  8. I'm going to watch that one. BBC productions are rarelly disappointing.
I just hope it doesn't focus too much on the romantic stuff. I'm more interested in the historical and sociological POV.
