  1. that prominent Roman i guess...would be Illythia? Seems like Gannicus captured her and decided to finally join Spartacus and brought her with him.

  2. yeah but I wouldn't say Gannicus is on board just yet

  3. Can anyone clarify whether Illythia's child is from Spartacus or not? The show has been a little vague on that one.

  4. No we can't clarify because we don't know. It's possible and certainly seems like that is where they are going but we don't know for sure. It could be Spartacus's child or it could be Glabor's (or it could be that 15 year old boy she seduced so that Spartacus would kill Varro but I doubt they were going to do that)

  5.  Ok then. I thought I missed something because there was a flashback (Illythia and Spartacus' sex scene) and I wasn't sure how to interpret that. I mean, they returned to that scene to imply that the child is Spartacus's, right? Or else why would they do that.

  7. I guess to imply that either the child is Spartacus or to remind us that she has been drifting from Gaius for a while so it doesn't seem out of the blue for her to want to divorce him and get with Varinius
