Skins has been axed and show bosses are reportedly planning to screen three special farewell episodes next year, according to reports.

    Not surprising. The quality has taken a huge downturn. And six series is a lot.

    The show wasn't "cancelled" as such. It was renewed for a final year, how many episodes and who is going to be in it has yet to be decided. Daily Star and their usual 'let's just twist a story to make it more interesting even if it's not true'.

    Not surprised, the third generation has been simply terrible. The sixth season a new low - they establish the situation in the first two episodes and for the past five virtually nothing happened. The writing is lousy, the episodes feature almost only the main character of the episode with the rest of the gang being onscreen for five to fifteen seconds... I'm really angry, because this show used to be about being different, but having some quality as well, not just pointless partying and ridiculing important problems. (SPOILER) The underage sex thing from the last episode was a bit too much for me.

    I'm pretty sure that means the same thing though maybe cancelled is much to harsh. I think Ending would be much more appropriate. Either was its done
