I'm guessing Blackwell gave the potion to Cassie's mother a long time ago to change her feelings toward Adam's father so he could be with her, which somehow made Cassie immune to it when she was born. It always felt odd to me that they had such a strong attraction to each other but nothing ever came of it, even after she split from John. According to these spoilers, he knew about the potion ahead of time.

ReplyDelete"- Yup Amelia was afraid of what would happen if the curse activated. But
we'll get to see the curse activated because of Adam and Cassie.
- Yea the episode will have lots of stuff things they are finally
connecting from the pilot to this episode for some continuity. Its
interesting enough to find out about the history of the parents and the
destiny in the stars thing.
- Grant is absent in this episode. But there's some great
Diana/Faye/Melissa fun time as they are helping Faye find out what
happened to Lee having that Faye went to see Lee in one scene at his
garage and Eva was there telling Faye, that Lee left town, but of course
Faye didn't buy that and wouldn't leave at first, then Eva got scary
and threatened Faye by using power throwing a vase that almost hit Faye.
Then you'll see a scene of Faye telling Diana and Melissa about that.
- We get to see Melissa and Blackwell bond. Blackwell was very fond of
Melissa's mother and sees that in Melissa especially her knowledge in
herbs and plants.
- Not to mention Charles has something planned with Jane Blake to help him
rid of Blackwell and Blackwell seems to also have an agenda of his own.
- Cassie still has her feelings for Adam, he's looking at her like just a
friend and they leave the episode like the pilot Cassie looking up at
the stars on her ceiling.
- Faye is distraught and sad, but upon Faye able to break that that totem
that was connected to Eva so Eva doesn't have her power, Eva breaks down
to Faye, she really loved him and didn't mean for that to happen to
Lee. Faye looks at her with pity and walks in the room where Lee's body
lies.
- Then theres a scene where Faye is telling Diana and Melissa on what
happened to Lee and Eva, but at least Faye has her friends, when Eva
really didn't have anyone. Something like that. It was a great scene
with the 3 girls, and how their friendship has become stronger."
So there will be a throwback to the scene where Cassie is looking at the stars on her room's ceiling, so cool!
And the other Blackwell might be Melissa? WOW! The show just got a hundred times better, kudos to the writers. Also happy that Jane will be in this one!

ReplyDeleteWell there's a scene where John Blackwell is with Diana and Melissa and
they are going over the list of ingredients listed. John Blackwell is
listing a particular plant. Melissa tells him of the plants they have
there growing at the house and that she got her knowledge from Nick. Its
then that John Blackwell is impressed by her knowledge and says Melissa
reminds him of her mother and that her mother was just like her knew
about all those plants. Melissa and John shared this smile. They just
connected almost as if its like Melissa is his daughter. When you see
this scene, youll get that same vibe too. Diana was there helping but
just how fondly John talked about Melissa's mom is as if he and
Melissa's mom maybe were something back in the day
I'm intrigued!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I'm looking forward to this scene. I'd be happy to any of the girls being John Blackwell's daughter but I'd be happier if it's Diana :) I still have hope it's her.
ReplyDeleteJake will live because Adam and Cassie saved him by giving up their own feelings for each other. But Jake could have died. He was getting there because of the curse.
ReplyDeleteShe looked a bit sad, but shook, it off. It was just awkward hearing that so soon. So you could probably imagine.
ReplyDeleteNo, Ethan and Amelia's families are really aligned by the stars, its just their families got cursed. The problem is that Amelia never told Ethan about the curse.
ReplyDeleteSo, Amelia had those strong feelings for Ethan, but Blackwell had some sort of potion that he gave to Amelia to rid her of those. Also placing a curse on those feelings if they were ever reacted upon?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have been thinking that Melissa was the other Blackwell kid as well (at first I thought it was Jake but they wouldn't have him looking at Cassie like that all the time if that was the case, right?). I guess they have been ignoring Melissa for a reason. I like her and I don't want her to become this show's Bonnie aka the black chick in the background.
