Yes! And on TVBTN they said that Kitchen Nightmares had a 1.2 as well, so Fringe kept its (rather low) lead-in 100%... They may be poor ratings but at least they aren't sub-1.0 and they have retention out of their lead-in! :D
I know I'm being greedy but now it needs to be adjusted up, and of course confirmed for season eight.
Is it just me or have Grimm's ratings fallen this week;and of course poor Nikita has gone down a bit too. Although I'm sorry for Nikita, I'm happy that there was a big jump in numbers for SPN. That means that many more people switched onto Supernatural after Nikita ended.
Glad Supernatural is back at a 0.7. Hope it stays there for the rest of the season since SPN usually falls in the spring.
Super excited that Fringe is back up to normal numbers. Another 0.9 would mean cancellation no matter how discounted the WB would make it.
Sad about Nikita. I know it's leaving this season but it would be nice to go out on a slightly better note. I have been watching season 1 and 2 this month because its fans were so passionate and it really is a fun, high action show. No show has more guns (including Supernatural) in an episode, more twists (including Fringe) in a season, or more action (including Burn Notice) in its series. Enjoyable popcorn TV.
It's not just this table. If you go to the full ratings for at least the last two days the tables have disappeared there as well. It says something about not showing it to protect the security and if you open it in a new window then Google says it is against their terms of service and won't let you see it.
still think Nikita will be renewed people have to remember it airs on friday and lets see how the other shows does and how Nikita does when it comes back again.
Wow, doesn't Blue Bloods generally get like 11+ million total viewers? That's like a 45% drop in total viewers... Oddly I think the rating is about the same as normal. XD
I was surprised at the total viewers drop as well. Pretty sure it tends to be around 10-11 million viewers (best performer on CBS Friday). Perhaps it's not being as well advertised lately? Plus a 2-week break, it's possible people didn't know the show was back on this week.
Well Hart Hanson the producer said the last two episodes did much better and the ratings were up.What they were i haven't looked. The show isn't bad,its quirky and if people gave it a chance they make like it. Yeah i know, keep telling myself that i know!...... 2.5 with Idol, ugh! :P
Yay! Supernatural's back to its usual viewers. I FULLY believe that the drop was related to the Hunger Games. But seriously.. the hellatus' are killing me. And they dont' help the show! Neither does timeslotting us with Fringe and Grimm, but very similar shows and newer and on more popular channels. But poor SPN keeps trucking along.. we fans really do love our show. :)
Yeah! No kidding! I think I'm going to go cry in a corner. How the hell is this show not doing better? It's an action-packed show and better than most CW shows in quality.
*Agree... I think somehow the cast and crew know it already that Fringe won't get renewed.. *Pointing at the bts piccies especially the way Anna = "looking" ... Kind-a sad. BUT I also know that this doesn't mean anything either... ♥
Possibly, but when I follow a tv series I usually keep myself up to date on the airing of the episodes, so I find it a little strange that fans of a show don't spend a second to check out the next episode, but maybe that's just me. Of course when the final ratings come in on Monday there could be changes all round with the up and down adjustments.
The fall last Friday of a lot of shows was curious too. I know nothing of ratings but if people went to the cinema instead of watching their shows I would expect there to be a big increase in the DVD recordings that night, for if it was me I would not wish to miss an episode of my favourite series.
Then again, of course, there are so many ways now to re-watch an episode on other media formats.
Well the ratings for CW and Fox make take a nose dive soon. As of this morning Tribune broadcasting pulled the plug on DirecTV. New York subscribers can no longer get CW11. And major cities all over the country are effected.
I saw that was going to happen. It would affect me but DirecTV already screwed us, well the company they contracted out did, so we get PIX11 through rabbit ears now. So hopefully they will get things figured out soon. Thanks to the switch to digital tv a few years ago you should still be able to get PIX11/CW.
Well Supernatural is back to its normal numbers which is good. I just want to say that this night is just so cut throat between the networks even more than Thursday sometimes
No not where I live. We are too far out on Long Island to get Pix via an antenna. DirecTV asked them to continue the signal while they negotiated and were turned down
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'm crying :')
ReplyDeletewe got a 1.2 :')
YES.
ReplyDeleteLast week was long since it was gone for quite sometime, I'm expecting stable ratings with 6 more episodes
ReplyDeleteI am so keeping my fingers crossed for Supernatural.
ReplyDeleteX X
hell yes!
ReplyDeletePhew for Fringe!
ReplyDeleteI can have a good night sleep tonight. Amen!
ReplyDeletekinda depressing that a 1.2 rating makes me so happy for fringe it deserves way better ratings
ReplyDeleteThank u, thank u, thank u, thank u. thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u,thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u,thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u,thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u, Thank u, THank u, THAnk u, THANk,u, THANK u,THANK U,THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteSame here, man... And I have to say I'm scared!
ReplyDeleteI share you fear. "trembles"
ReplyDeleteexactly. not good, phew!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I knew last week's Hunger Games-tainted ratings didn't count. Now let's go higher!
ReplyDeleteFringe's ratings means the night was less ugly than last week, so I'm expecting SPN to go up as well.
ReplyDelete0.7! 1.71! *Breaths in relief* Thank you, show! ♥
ReplyDeleteYes! And on TVBTN they said that Kitchen Nightmares had a 1.2 as well, so Fringe kept its (rather low) lead-in 100%... They may be poor ratings but at least they aren't sub-1.0 and they have retention out of their lead-in! :D
ReplyDeleteSee. No Hunger Games, no basketball, a GOOD episode this time; and we’re back in the game. Let’s keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteLooking better Fringe, don't stop now, lets get season 5.
ReplyDeleteYeah Fringe (and Kitchen... ;-) )! Yeah science!
ReplyDeleteHey, congrats to all you Fringe people :) I know this is awesome for you! Also, I'm breathing a sigh of relief for Supernatural.
ReplyDeleteWow. I am so happy for Fringe.
ReplyDeleteWow Fringe had more viewers than Hell's Kitchen
ReplyDeleteYea!.Crossing fingers does help!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm being greedy but now it needs to be adjusted up, and of course confirmed for season eight.
Is it just me or have Grimm's ratings fallen this week;and of course poor Nikita has gone down a bit too.
Although I'm sorry for Nikita, I'm happy that there was a big jump in numbers for SPN. That means that many more people switched onto Supernatural after Nikita ended.
I would LOVE if it gets adjusted up, but I'll be just as happy if it doesn't get adjusted down, lol. *Blushes*
ReplyDelete0.7..Okay,breathe people!Second place is ours for the week! : )
ReplyDeleteBut what in the world happened to Nikita...I stopped watching, but shame. It's pretty much gone..
Damn!!Nikita fell to 1.32 In overall and 0.4 In the demo.Very terrable news.
ReplyDeleteGosh. It doesn't usually get adjusted down, but one has to be prepared for anything, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll just keep my fingers crossed, mentally anyway!
Should be interesting to see what will be the effect of giving the Finder into the mix...
ReplyDeleteToday's a beautiful saturday! I love my Fringies!! We did well!
ReplyDeleteI'm not seeing any table or ratings comments above. Something happen to them? Or something weird on my end?
ReplyDelete1.2 for Fringe - yay! :) What about 1.3 next week? :D Doesn't Fringe get its new lead-in "The Finder" next Friday? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat does that mean?
ReplyDeleteYep. From next week, I think.
ReplyDeleteGlad Supernatural is back at a 0.7. Hope it stays there for the rest of the season since SPN usually falls in the spring.
ReplyDeleteSuper excited that Fringe is back up to normal numbers. Another 0.9 would mean cancellation no matter how discounted the WB would make it.

No its not you.It was up before but something it going on.
ReplyDeleteYes Wilson, next Friday The Finder starts...
ReplyDeleteMe too, can't see table
ReplyDeleteIt's not just this table. If you go to the full ratings for at least the last two days the tables have disappeared there as well. It says something about not showing it to protect the security and if you open it in a new window then Google says it is against their terms of service and won't let you see it.
ReplyDeleteActually it is good Phew.....last nights rating is better then last weeks, phew!
ReplyDeleteY.A.Y!! good job Fringies!
ReplyDeletestill think Nikita will be renewed people have to remember it airs on friday and lets see how the other shows does and how Nikita does when it comes back again.
ReplyDeleteLet me ask you do you see the ratings posted? I saw the ratings before but i cam back to check something and all i see is a blank page...
ReplyDeleteSo happy Fringe rating has go up, they have to stay at this to get season 5, I am going to hope that go up or at stay at this!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness. :|
ReplyDeleteIt can't even get higher than 2.5 with an American Idol lead-in. O_o
Wow, doesn't Blue Bloods generally get like 11+ million total viewers?
ReplyDeleteThat's like a 45% drop in total viewers... Oddly I think the rating is about the same as normal. XD

ReplyDeleteThe last episode of Grimm was 1.5/5.15. Many probably didn't realize it was back from hiatus.
ReplyDeleteGrimm had a significant drop after its hiatus too, about 20%.
ReplyDeleteYay! :)
ReplyDeleteI would double check the raitings just looked through 3 sources that said Blue Bloods had 10.6 million and a 1.6
ReplyDeleteYeah! No kidding! I think I'm going to go cry in a corner. How the hell is this show not doing better? It's an action-packed show and better than most CW shows in quality.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're right. Hoping beyond hope.
ReplyDeleteStill see a cancellation ahead for Olivia.
ReplyDelete1,2... No bad... still I wonder why FOX is oh soo quiet and not letting us know if FRINGE {yes, FOX, F R I N G E !!!} will have a 5th or not...
ReplyDelete♥
I believe last year Fox waited until May to announce that Fringe would be renewed, tho i'm not positive..
ReplyDeleteActually FOX announced the renewal for Season 4 on March the 25th 2011....
ReplyDelete♥
Ha see that is why i said i wasn't positive!
ReplyDeleteWith Fringe being off the air so much this season its not surprising they haven't announced yet.
*Agree... I think somehow the cast and crew know it already that Fringe won't get renewed..
ReplyDelete*Pointing at the bts piccies especially the way Anna = "looking" ... Kind-a sad. BUT I also know that this doesn't mean anything either...

Hope you don't mind but,I hope you are wrong! :)

If they'd know we'd know, too. The first thing Joel did after finding out last year was posting it on twitter.
ReplyDeleteWell the ratings for CW and Fox make take a nose dive soon. As of this morning Tribune broadcasting pulled the plug on DirecTV. New York subscribers can no longer get CW11. And major cities all over the country are effected.
