  1. I'm entertained by Catherine Tate in small doses, but I hope they don't really let her stick around.  I suppose I wouldn't mind her taking over James Spader's role when he leaves, though.  It did make me happy to see Andy and Erin happy again  :)  I'm pretty sure they're the only ones who can truly handle the other's crazy.

  2. The only parts I liked were the cold open and the brief Jim/Dwight bonding moment. Cannot stand Catherine Tate or James Spader on the show. Hate Erin and loathe Andy/Erin and he honestly deserves way better than that idiot.

I hope the next episode is better.

  3. Ok, have to say it, one of the worst eps in a while for me... usually there's at least one plotline that makes me chuckle, this one just did not deliver for me mainly because of Catherine Tate's character. the small doses they've shown us from the interviews and in the Tallahassee eps were fine because she was annoying in small doses. I get that she's pretty popular in the UK, but at least for me, her humor (at least how it's written for the show) doesn't work for the show and frankly don't understand why this character was touted as a possible replacement for Micheal Scott. The Robert California character in this ep also was poorly executed.. I know that James S is leaving at the end of the season, and I hope that the Nellie character will be gone sooner than that, otherwise this show will have made my drop list.....

  4. Ok episode, tired of Spader's character.  Absolutely hate Catherine Tate's character and since this is the only role I've sen of her I dislike her as an actress now too.  Only highlight of the episode for me were Andy/Erin finally getting together.

  5. So glad that there's a shining light indicating the end of Andy's reign. No disrespect to Ed Helms, love ya, but Andy alone is much too much, but putting him as manager is insane. Robert California, his name alone is annoying even though I greatly admire James Spader. Looking forward to his leaving. Catherine Tate, please becoming permanent manager! I'm quite sure if this happens that they'll tone down her character quite a bit.

  6. looks like I'm in the minority here, but I thought Catherine Tate was pretty funny and wasn't annoyed at all..

lol at Toby forgetting his name or whatever that was..

  7. HATE Catherine Tate! She was at best only tolerable on Doctor Who, but every time she does comedy she goes over-the-top in roles that don't call for that kind of performance. I actually love several broad-style British comedies, but there is a time and place and that is not The Office. Saw her live in Much Ado About Nothing and she sucked just as hard in that. She has absolutely no sense of subtlety.

  8. If The Office gets another season I'm not sure if I will be watching unless they do something radical. I have no problem with Andy/Erin but this season they handled it so weirdly making Erin go to some dark places which most of the time made no sense
