An interesting and creepy episode. Although I like the knights, I do watch Merlin for the Arthur/Merlin relationship and was very taken aback by Arthur pushing Merlin away again and again throughout the earlier part of the episode. As it turned out the reason was that he felt guilty of what he had done so many years ago. He did believe Merlin about Elyan and acted upon his advice, which was nice to see. And above all, repenting about what he had done (or had failed to prevent) lead to a first acceptance of magic, in the form of the druids who Arthur promised to respect in the future (Hence 'a herald of the new age'). Well, we'll see what really comes of it in season 5. I agree with Merlin - nice to see Arthur so emotional (and very well played by Bradley!!)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
