    Honestly I don't know if I should vote awesome or awful.. I loved the last scene between Susan and Mike but at the meantime I'm so pissed they killed him off. I wanted him and Susan to get their happy ending so bad. 
    The part where Bree ate the suicide pie was funny though.

    I agree marie so i voted middle. I was very pist they killed him off. Im also very pissed at the dumb producer who ruined the surprise because after watching that i would've never imagined they were killing mike off. I mean 8 years and that would have been a much crazier surprise if i had not already known. I am mad mike died but with 5 episodes left im not too much caring just like james is. I just hope susan has the happy ending because if she doesnt i will never be happy with the ending of DH. After all that with teri and susan getting divorced from karl, dating (then break up then Dating then break up then dating, then child and marriage then divorce, then marriage again up to now) has been awesome and terrible and ending her on a bad note would suck. I am fine with the way he died he died basically a hero but I was hoping for like a last few words as he died but right before it was fine and that nice stop after he was shop to show 8 years (13 for them) has been and then seeing it all end was fantastic. I give the director and cherry and the writers props for that.

    I also loved the flashbacks they were amazing ! I'm also mad that I knew in advance because as soon as Susan sat on the porch with him I knew what was coming and started crying my eyes out. 
    I really wonder though if Sheridan weren't suing Cherry for wrongful termination (among other things) if he would have killed off a fan favorite.. It was like dropping a bomb in court, "oh you think you're the only one who got whacked, wait to see what happens to Mike". For someone who wanted to make a point ("you only killed my character over 8 years of show and it was because you hated me!"), that was a slap in the face.. This lawsuit has been in motion for a couple of years, maybe Cherry's lawyers suggested him a strategy to make her lose credibility or something.. I may be totally wrong and it might be a creative decision, but the timing is perfect..Anyways I agree with you that being so close to the end, we don't have to be Delfino-less for years to come. The thing is he was the only husband I always liked, no matter what he did. Over the course of the show, I rooted Tom then found him annoying and childlike, was pissed at Carlos, liked Orson then wished he would have died instead of Karl, then pitied him... etc.. Overall I love them all because they are all flawed and amazing but Mike was my favorite! I'm curious about how they are gonna deal with Susan's loss until the end.

    Wow! How emotional. My heart was racing from minute one of the episode, since I knew Mike was going to be gunned down! I started tearing up the last ten minutes,since I knew that Mike and Susan were going to have an emotional last scene together. The second I saw him on the porch sitting and thinking, I knew this was his goodbye scene. I just knew it! I broke out and screamed the way Susan did when she saw what happened to Mike. I cried and screamed and I had a pounding heart! I wanted to hug Susan. It was so chivalrous of Mike to push Susan out of the way before he got gunned down. What a man! I am going to miss him. He had a lot of opportunities to die during the first few seasons. In jail, with Paul Young, and many other cases. I loved the flashbacks over the past 13 (well, eight seasons) years of the show of the marvelous memories he and Susan shared.
    Their first meet, their first kiss, their wedding, their getting back
    together after Dave held them hostage, finding out Susan was pregnant
    with MJ, MJ being born! I am looking forward to next week's episode. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

    Well I don't mind that death but they could have killed off the son instead. Easily the worst character in the show over the course of the 8 years (excluding Kayla and Nora)

    Oh my gosh :( How sad!


    How are any of them gonna have a happy ending? It's looking like Bree will be arrested, Tom and Lynette won't get back together and Gabby/Carlos are having yet more marriage problems. And Susan? :(
    They've sure returned the "Desperate" to Desperate Housewives

    Really sweet moment between Mike and Susan at the end of the episode!  Too bad at the way it ended  :(  I loved the montage of scenes at the end, heartbreaking as it was.

    I didn't read the spoiler before the episode, but I had a feeling they are goinf to kill off Mike. I was hoping they'll kill someone else. Then the porch scene - that's when I knew it.... Wanted to vote awful but voted OK. So mad. All those years of getting together, breaking up, then getting together again... All those years for what?!!!!!!!!!!! How could they do that to Susan? Loved the flashback, it was a good montage. The last scene was very sad and sweet. But I'm MAD, I'm MAD at the writers/producers!

    That was such a sad ending... i loved mike and susan moment, but mike's death was unnecessary just a few episodes away from the series finale...i don't know what they're planning for the end, but i hope they dont kill everybody till the end or throw all of them in jail...
    Anyway, it was an awesome/awful episode

    I'm forever crying. Mike was my fave character in the show. I'm seeing the rest of the season because it's the final season,  if it wasn't, i don't think i could handle this show without Mike... :'(

     Whatever happened to Kayla? I bet she will be back for the season finale. I heard a lot of older characters that were written off of the show or were killed of were coming back in flashbacks or coming back to visit Wisteria Lane!

    have you ever actually watched this show cause if you have you would have seen that  he was the only character who didn't act all holy-er  than thou he was the best character in the show... He was caring, loving, protective and he died standing up for his family and friends
