  1. Government conspiracies have to have either Harrison Ford or Gene Hackman. So far so good. I think they are doing a good job of intertwining the stories.

I just hope it doesn't turn into The Truman Show.

  2. Hmm...interesting. I like how the one case really didn't get solved in the end. And the overall plot thickens too!
Can't wait till next week! :)

considering that britt's boss and the dude are behind it and their in the red world of the wife, im guessing that (as of now) is likely to be the real reality. And somehow after michael's son died he is dreaming of that reality. I would say tho it would be more sad if the child were to be truly dead as it is for all parents.

  6. Not as strong as the pilot but still really enjoyable

  7. That boss lady said in the end: "... instead taking out his whole family..."
Makes me think that maybe both his wife and son are dead.
    What do you think?

  8. Solid second outing!
Now I know we got the overarching mythology reveal in the red world, but I still think it's the green world that's reality.

  9. I actually preferred this over the Pilot.  Nicely balanced, and even a hint of mytharc.

I still think the cases of the week are the weakest element.  We're only 2 weeks in, but I think the cases will be quickly forgotten.  Making Brittain a detective who has to solve boring cases was a terrible idea.

Anyway, nice to see the lovely Sophia from THE EVƎNT. Milf :-D

  10. I think I actually liked the pilot better, I am not liking the way they flash that ink blot test in between realities (unless it's signifying that they are both actually dream worlds (i.e in Deception they say you never remember how you got to a place in a dream, I prefer seeing him wake up in each reality). Also did they drop the bracelets thing already? I don't think I saw them. I think the red world is a "red herring", jk, maybe. It was an OK episode for me but like some others, I think the cases will be a hindrance in the very near future. I am not sure how to approach this series. I don't know how deep to go with it just yet. I mean just the whole color thing alone, I could probably write five pages about. Or the stages of grief or the potential of the untapped mind. But what really bothers me is that the boss is a ginger (and Laura Innes always plays a strong bitch with an agenda). I mean really? And did the wife really HAVE to wear that red shirt?

  11. I was a little surprised at how hostile his new partner was about working the homeless guy case.  I thought it was a really good ep...loved his figuring out how to get the laundry right by asking his wife.  Lots of nice moments, all of them in his personal life.

I did figure out the root of why everyone is convinced he's not okay.  His lies as to why some weird piece of information twigging his brain suck!   Most of us accept...'when the security company mentioned this odd alarm...i just had a hunch it was something we shouldn't ignore'  would be a valid statement that we'd let go.   But not him.  He manages to make a federal case out of it.  Of course his partner is going to be wondering what's up.
