I'm really liking the Mad Hatter is these clips. If he is this awesome on the show I wouldn't mind him occasionally appearing. That is, if he lives through the episode.
I don't know but this is not the first time Emma and possible magical abilities has been alluded to. Just last episode, Mr. Gold said to Emma "Regina may be powerful but something tells me that you are more powerful than you know."
The Hatter and Mr. Gold could have been talking about the same thing.
I'm really interested to see where they'll take his character. Without Wonderland or Alice he's just... depressed and angry and a little well... mad. And these previews make me want him and Emma together! (Even though my heart will always belong to Graham.) Oh, and how about the scar on his neck and the "off with his head" remark? Best new character ever!
I agree! Mr. Gold/Rumpel is kind of... I don't know how to describe him, but with the Mad Hatter/Jefferson he's just a lot more cruel. Rumpel still has his magic in Storybrooke, but obviously the Mad Hatter doesn't. Take a man from his magic and Wonderland makes him just a bit more insane....
Well there is the fact that Rumple was able to bottle love (which he said would be powerful) by taking a hair from Snow and Charming and putting them together and he knows that Emma is their daughter, so he knows that the child of Snow and Charming would also be powerful.
I really cannot wait for this! I just finished watching Heart of Darkness and tomorrow it will be this ep! We're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind here in The Netherlands but I am caught up!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
So excited for this!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I hope they release a clip with the Mad Hatter in the fairy tale world :)
ReplyDeleteI like this real world spin on the Mad Hatter. Without magic he's just depressed and angry.

ReplyDeleteThis guy is officially the scariest character on Once Upon a Time. Give me either Rumplestiltskin or Mr. Gold any day.
ReplyDeleteThis show is terrific.
ReplyDeleteWhy does he think Emma has magic?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this episode!

ReplyDeleteHe wants her to do what? Does he know who she is? Sooo looking forward to the episode.
ReplyDeleteI love him. He is saying exactly what Henry thinks, only in a mature and understandable way.
