The Leverage team is back to its old capers and in the first episode of season 5, Cary Elwes is on their radar.

The Princess Bride star is set to guest star in the premiere, playing Scott Roemer, a modern day Howard Hughes who is the owner of Global Transit Airlines. The team cons the unscrupulous Roemer into thinking he has a chance to steal Hugh’s famous Spruce Goose, but after he seemingly takes the bait, he comes to realize all is not as it seems.

  1. Yay! Will forever love him because of Princess Bride. (Didn't like his characters in Twister or X-Files.)

  6. Can't he play Despereaux on Leverage too?  That would be much, much better.

  8. Everything is better with Princess Bride - even if only tangentially.  Loved the "As you wish" on Castle the other night.  Here's hoping they can add some subtle PB gems in the episode, although at this point, I would be excited just to see a promo with Eliot, Parker, or Hardison in it.
