Peter Lenkov twitted this earlier a fan asked whether Alex will be featured in the episode. Rumours from the media said he did film a small scene before he went into the rehab so it has been officially confirmed by Peter that he'll be in the episode

    That scene will probably tell us why he's not in the rest of the episode. Maybe called to a conference, or something like that.

    YAY!  I know it will probably be brief, but at least its something.  Rumors are that he will be back on the set 1st week of April.  I hope he's feeling better.
