Welcome to
WELCOME BACK, FRINGE FANATICS!

Before I start on anything, please note that around an hour before the show (I think that's how it works at least) we need to tweet #ChangeYourWorld for us fans to get it trending!

So... GET ON IT, People!

Anyway, onto the festivities!

NOTHING AS IT SEEMS
Once again I'm playing the ignorant card, as I have purposely ignored all (3-4) sneak peeks of tonight's episode, and I even can't remember what I saw on last week's promo! I'm very excited to keep this sort've isolation from spoilers for now because I've really enjoyed the show more. I just love seeing things for the first time, and falling into the scenery of the well-crafted world of Fringe... Tonight, as the seemingly Pearl Jam-inspired "Nothing As it Seems" title says, we're probably going to witness yet another twist!

I would like to think that tonight's episode is going to be 60% mytharc, and 40% story of the week. Last week's episode was great for the Olivia+Peter moments, and all the other character moments we get, but the story of the week was too prevalent in the episode. I'm getting to that point that happens sometimes where I'm like "IDGAF about that stupid person! What's up with blahblahblah?" and I am trying to make sure I don't do that, but sometimes you just can't help but feel like Fringe is already on borrowed time, and I need it to sate my appetite for all things Fringe!

Mini-rant aside, I am pumped/worried about this episode. We all know the track record Abrams series have when the leads finally get to embrace each other...usually tragedy follows, and we're back to square one all over again! So, we'll see if something terrible happens (will Olivia die as prophesied?) which is really pretty much every episode anyway, so it's very likely.

And now, I defer to you:

  14. I really do miss the blue credits. I think you're right, we probably won't see them until everyone remembers that timeline and who knows when or if that will ever happen...

  15. We will see. But since tonight's case takes place in "this world" (as the press release said), I think we will.

  16. I almost think with Walter it might not be full memory in terms of visions of the past (since Walter was always about memory loss to begin with).. t might be more of a visceral transference (like Daniel Faraday!)

Although I am not sold if what September said is the whole truth...
