    OK, I'm on board!  Looks like it'll have enuff hardware and battles to get a better audience size than Caprica (which I enjoyed). I trust that they will not skimp on Character and good Story Telling.

    That can't be a legitimate trailer... I mean... It literally looks just like the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trailer...it even uses the GWTDT trailer's music... lol

    Still, I am certainly going to watch that!!! More BSG please!

    I really did NOT like the music they chose for the trailer.  What is this?  As in I haven't heard anything about it not in a 'this sucks' kind of way.   Looks like it might have possibilities but I can't figure out if it's a new tv movie or a series that's aiming a little closer to what the original series was.  And the guy we kept getting the face shots of reminds me a little too much of Justin Long.

    It's Trent Reznor's "Immigrant Song" from "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"! --I kind felt like the lyrics and the intensity, considering Battlestar's themes, worked nicely here, even though technically they didn't have the rights to use it, let alone show everyone the demo reel!

     Thanks for the info,the trailer was fantastic,i would love for it to be a series,i loved BSG and i couldn't believe they were calling it quits after 4 seasons.If the SyFy channel dumped some of the crap they have on,ie the Ghost hunter, Hollywood Treasure, Fact or Fiction or Quantum Kitchen they would have
    enough money,maybe even gain a bigger audience.

     Well i hope someone comes to their senses and decides to go forward with a series..one can hope!

    I think FRINGE easily counts as a SciFi show. However, if you mean intergalactic, desperate warfare SciFi, then I'd have to agree.
    (Although Mass Effect has kept me sated in that department for a couple years now...)

    I don't understand SyFy or NBC these days...half the time I swear SyFy has wrestling on too....

    And then according to DEADLINE NBC seems "unsure" how this version of a trailer made it's way to Wondercon...I can only hope, considering how many hits and how many videos NBC/Universal had to take down, that maybe this was the alleged show runners/writers way to show the network just how popular it could be....maybe with any luck, this stint will lead something good...

    I like Caprica for what it added onto BSG as a whole, but I did miss the "Galactic" space opera aspect...

    And Thank Goodness it's almost FRINGE FRIDAY! XD

    I wonder if this comment from the tvline article "But because of intensive post-production work, the final product wasn't delivered until last November..." is a clue as to, possibly, one reason the show didn't get picked up as a series.  After what happened with Terra Nova I wouldn't be surprised if SyFy (considered by some as cheap) didn't want to find themselves in the same position Fox did.

    Ha! I forgot about the wresling,lord what are they thinking? I liked the first few episodes of Caprica,but i lost interest after that.Happy to hear about the trailer getting shown at WonderCon,if it was deliberately done for that reason more power to them!

    According to one article I found at http://www.movieweb.com/news/syfys-battlestar-galactica-blood-and-chrome-first-look-trailer, "Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome" takes place in the 10th year of the first Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, a sentient robotic race, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, a brash rookie viper pilot enters the fray. Ensign William Adama, barely in his 20's and a recent Academy graduate, finds himself assigned to the newest battlestar in the Colonial fleet... the Galactica. The talented but hot-headed risk-taker soon finds himself leading a dangerous top secret mission that, if successful, will turn the tide of the decade long war in favor of the desperate fleet."
