  1. I'm really liking this show!  They'll probably cancel it.  :\  I really want to find out more about Hauser and Lucy!

  2. This actually sounds quite exciting.....so going to end on a frustrating cliffhanger though

  3. It might have a better chance than some people give it...
It was doing fairly well before The Voice started and it has better numbers with the live + DVR added in than Terra Nova did.

I think its maybe 50/50 renewal/ canellation right now, but if The Finder gets cancelled that could go up a bit. I would not say it's looking good exactly, but it certainly could be worse!

  4. Sometime 1 season is all you need to tell a story.Because I think the pemise of the show is far too narrow. All you get each week basically is a person coming back through time, and committing a crime.
There is 1 big mystery? Of how are these prisioners travelling through time? Can you really make an interest enough show to last 3-4 seasons on that pemise? To me this could be a case of week on Fringe.
Also by the sounds whats going to happen in the finale. What can you do if there was a season 2?
But repeat what we've seen in season 1,and continue to tangle to viewers the 1 big mystery each week?
Unless the finale is like J.J Abrams famous mystery box.Where there is mystery within a mystery?
What will be the point of the show getting a second season.

  5.  I could be wrong but Hart Hanson (producer)  tweeted yesterday that the numbers were rather good, better than expected. The other night when he was at the Paley Fest with the cast of Bones,he seemed rather sure that the show will be back for S2.....?

  7. Hoping for a Season 2... The finale is atleast being publicized as a "Season" finale, and not SERIES finale.

  8. It's been 11 press releases, and they still refer to him as ED Tiller...

  9. "What more can you do if there was a season 2" ... this can't really be answered until we see the finale... I'm sure people thought the same about Lost years ago... how can they continue it each year..? It can't always be about trying to escape from the island - and it wasn't. There -are- many other questions on Alcatraz than time travel ... how are people brought back to life? Who/what was behind that door? What is Emerson planning to do with the newly imprisoned inmates? Who is Hauser working for? Who is bringing the inmates through time - and why? Is the time travel only one way? (eg. cryogenic freezing?) What are they doing with the blood?

And that's after only a handful of shows...

I do worry that they'll cancel this - but with who's involved, if it's borderline, I think they'd be stupid to do so. These shows are often "growers"...

  10. Hopefully there will be a second season, can't imagine that they can wrap everything up in these two episodes!
