  1. So this is what Glen Mazzara was talking about in his interview with Vulture.

"In the second episode, you’ll see Lori [the lead character’s pregnant wife] make a choice which is very, very different for her and very unique, and I bet you people will have strong reactions on the Internet: Would she do this, wouldn’t she do this? I hate her! or I can’t believe what she’s doing! And I’m just trying to explore new characters."

  2. I took a peek and YIKES!.ha,...I really like they way one has to look underneath instead of it starring you in the face,we could use more of that.I think anyway..

  3. Dale is poisoning the water for Shane. When Dale told Lori that he believes Shane killed Otis, she believed him totally, and now believes Shane is very dangerous. That's why she took off after Rick.

  4. knowing this.. shane's comment to andrea in the sneak peek takes on interesting subtext & begs context
    *****SPOILER below*****

"I should have left when i had the chance."

does he mean he feels he can't leave with Lori preggers or does he somehow know that it's come down to him or Rick.. guns at 20 paces style

  6. Did they remove the picture already? I don't see a picture just the words "Are you sure?" in a blue box that I can't "click" it on at least not in Google Chrome.

  7. It's all in the Are You Sure box. I was able to click it on. Maybe try again?

  8. Shane is a time bomb, but as long as he don't does something reckless like he did with the zombies in the farm or with Otis, I'm ok with him.

  9. I got it now. Thanks... sometimes this board acts a little funky for me. So Lori is trying to convince Rick to kill Shane... I guess she's not Zombie Lunch after her vehicle crashed. Pity, I'm starting to actively dislike her - not anything to do with wanting to have Rick off his best friend - but because she's a "weak" character who is easily lead and seems too reluctant  to arrive at  and stick to her own conclusions. Post Zombie Apocalypse no one's hands are really clean (I'm referring to Shane shooting Otis and leaving him to be Zombie-piled) to bring the equipment to save Carl.  (I've never read the comics/graphic novels).

  10. This is like Macbeth. The wife talks him into it and he goes and does it. But then the wife goes crazy and kills herself. I hope Lori doesn't kill herself. I like her. She causes drama.

  11. If she wants Shane dead, she should do it herself.  He'd never see it coming.

  14. This looks too predictable--Lori will lose the baby and be "saved" by Shane.  Then Shane will probably off Dale

  15. Considering Jeffrey DeMunn was one of the Darabont loyalists who survived last season purely because of his character, it doesn't surprise me Dale's going to be gone by the end of this one.  They haven't done anything with him in eight episodes.  It was obvious after he stopped interacting with Andrea that relationship isn't going to come to a realization on the show.  And they've amped up the rivalry with Shane in a way it never was in the comic.  I don't remember Dale flatout confronting Shane about his secret hatred for Rick.  Can't speak to anything else, since Shane was gone by Hershel's Farm and Otis lived for quite a while in the comic.
