  2. I like the Damon Elena  idea more than Stefan but for some reason it seems that no matter what happens Elena will end up with Stefan

Eh.. not exactly a fan of Elena and Matt, but I don't blame her for stepping back from the Salvatores for a while - it's only making her head spin.  Ultimately, I love the idea of Elena and Damon.  She's been really good for him, and I've enjoyed watching him change bit by bit over the last few seasons as he's fallen in love with her.  They've got a lot of stuff to work through, naturally, but I'd love to see them happy.

  5. Matt?  Really?  So Matt is going to be the Dan to Elena's Blair? (without the chemistry)  She's going to start running to him every time there's some sort of crisis?  This seems like a crappy idea.  I liked the Rebekah / Matt idea much better.
