So, I see Dick Stefan is still being a dick to Damon when he's the one who betrayed Damon and killed him. Back to the Old Stefan thinking he's so much better than Damon.
aaaaand it's on! St. Stefan is back on bambi bood!? Maybe not right now but soon enough he will be.How come Stefan never suffers the consequences for his actions? He just decides to be "the better brother"again and everyone happily acceptes. That's what bugs me the most about Stefan, the writers just try to sell everything via words and not actions. The entire Ripper-SL is a huge failure! Who am I kidding, it barely even existed.
I am really loving all the Klaus scenes, I wish they would post one of his every once in awhile :o/ Last nights episode was one of my favorites and I am loving the banter between Caroline and Klaus and their chemistry
Maybe because Stefan isn't bad actually, he's forced to act bad, basically. While Damon normally does bad things when he's bored, well, or hurt but he just turns off his humanity and goes. Stefan doesn't decide to be 'the better brother' That is Stefan for you. He doesn't want to be a ripper anymore, since long time ago. He wants to be simple, peaceful and boring Stefan. The ripper did exist apparently, but doesn't anymore. Jesus Damon fans never ever try to see another side of a story or understand anything about Stefan.
And Stefan fans about Damon? No, he just "normally does bad things when he's bored, well, or hurt but he just turns off his humanity and goes". Nothing more, nothing less.
She just proved your point about you! And you come back with DE isn't happening.... SEE this right there!!!! No annoyed that Stefan gets let off the hook for everything he's done since he had not been compelled so easily! He should have to earn it all back like Damon did. We want equality. We want fair and balanced with the brothers. If you cant see how unbalanced it is then it's not worth it to even talk to you about it!
About ME? . Um because it isn't happening, aren't we watching the same show. Once your heart is taken, it's taken. Oh so all you want is for Stefan to suffer, I get it. Didn't he already say in this episode that he's in pain, can't you see that. He lies to Elena's face that he has no feelings for her because he's so ashamed of himself but his eyes clearly do show othewise. You assume he's not in pain? Just because he doesn't express it as clearly as Damon doesn't mean he isn't. Again: you only see one side of a story.
Generally Stefan is right; he is the better brother, at least morally, if not in entertainment value. But right now? When Damon starts his self-destruction by saving Matt? When Stefan is still basking in the glow of his own attempts to let Jeremy die for the cause and turn Elena into a vampire, while Damon is many personal steps away from his? I'd say they're pretty much at an equal playing field, if Damon doesn't in fact have a slight upper hand at the moment. Not saying that Stefan can't reform entirely and therefore be the less violent, volatile brother again. But for now, he needs to get that stick out of his ass and understand that as long as he's being all Ripper Lite, he really doesn't have the right to judge, because nobody's making him act the way he's acting anymore. It's all him.
Did I ever say he wasn't in pain? Pain now constitutes equality when it comes to earning forgiveness. So Stefan can walk around Mystic falls in pain but never redeem himself for the things he just did "when Un-compelled"? Because he is hurting everyone should just say, well Stefan didn't mean it... let's forgive him? Damon had to literally crawl on his knees and fight to be forgiven for losing those peoples trust and all Stefan has to do is show pain in his eyes. I don't see 1 side sweetie. I actually like Stefan and am not a Stefan hater but I like I said want equality in treatment for the brothers!
Damon had to literally kill Jeremy when he had a bad day (luckily he had his magical ring on, but Damon didn't know nor care), I don't remember Stefan doing anything similar apart from MANIPULATING. Stefan never acts as careless as Damon. You really would forgive someone who killed your family member just cause he had a bad day that easily? I don't think so. Well seriously compare these two things. Stefan has a goal he's trying to achieve so he manipulates everyone...how bad that is. He doesn't ask for forgiveness then why don't you blame everyone around him that they choose to forgive him, not Stefan himself. I'm not a Damon hater either I'm just going go defend Stefan from thoughtless accusations.
Damon is in a bad place because deep down he knows that the only reason any of the bad or good of this season involving stefan happened because stefan sold his "soul" to save damon's life. Stefan didnt choose to be the ripper for fun he did to save his brother. He gave up all he had accomplished and Elena to keep Damon alive. The nobility of that act is what i think is allowing people to be so forgiving of his noncompelled actions.
I read through some of the comments here, and why is it that when Damon's being a dick, everyone thinks it's kinda cool and hot and Damon just being honest and himself, while Stefan being a dick makes him the biggest asshole on the show?
And then again, when Stefan show's some emotions and starts being a better person again, it's not good as well.
I think Stefan is a bloody martyr and I don't see nobility in it. He saved Damon because he loves his brother. That I can fully understand and sympathise with. What I don't get is why he's being bitchy to Elena when he chose to leave her without telling her why? What was she supposed to think or do? I hated his attitude when she asked him if he killed Meredith's ex. As if he hadn't just come down from a killing spree from one coast to another. He's a self-righteous a-hole.
I care even less for Damon who's a whiny brat. It's downright exhausting to see a grown up man throw temper tantrums every time he doesn't get his way. I also don't appreciate how he was grabbing and pushing Elena around in 3x14. He deserved her comment about his love being a problem.
Well, in my case I think Ripper Stefan is more fun to watch. Actually, people are complaining about the possibility of him coming back to 1º season Stefan.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThe brothers arguing over Elena all the time makes me giggle. They're like 3 yr olds fighting over a toy. :P

ReplyDeleteAwww.. I hope broody Stefan isn't on his way back..
ReplyDeleteSo weird neither one thinks they should be with Elena.

But why doesn't that amuse you? I think objectifying women is gross.

It's a tv show. And that was a metaphor. I don't find that Elena is being objectified.
ReplyDeletedo u know why people like damon's being dick is because ian sommerholder shows u being dick is kind cool and paul cant ever make tht happen ........

ReplyDeleteAw, hell. What was that at the end? Is Stefan on the wagon again?
