    This is all starting to go downhill for me.  The Original family is already starting to annoy me and the Elena / Damon / Stefan triangle is getting way too contentious to be entertaining.  The most interesting part of TVD for me right now is the mystery surrounding who keeps trying to kill council members.

    The Originals and their ball, gotta wonder who's gonna be the main course... I would sincerely hope that the council has completely spiked the entire water system with vervain and is crop dusting the area with seeds so the populace can have at least a little measure of protection. I do  like the little scene with Klaus and Kol facing off... "Go back to staring at yourself" - great line Can't wait to see his interactions with Finn, who I assume is his older brother....

    I'm still on board with the Originals story line, but I hope it doesn't get to be too much.  Yes, they're beautiful and mysterious - but keep things interesting!  I don't feel like it's going much farther, and could go pretty downhill.
