  1. I don't want to come over as being too critical here but what's with all these "older" ex-film actors and actresses who seem to have transferred on to the small screen.

They have a perfect right to do so, of couse, but I hope they don't see a tv series as being just a good way to pass the time and earn some spare cash.

Of course they could just be very intuitive and understand that the future is probably going to be geared to less Cinema and more Tv.

  2.  Wow could i unload on you,i really can't believe you posted this...

Whats wrong with wanting to act,you know how hard it is landing a job after a certain age,let alone landing a part when a women is in her 40's and older..
What is wrong with a person going for a part in a tv series? Any actor regardless of age will tell you they love acting, that's what they live for,a part in a movie,a part on the small screen, just as long as they get to act,and if a paycheck comes along with it hell that's even better.Hell if they become a regular cast member, wow they can get to do what they love...ACTING!

Do you honestly think that just because an "older" person is older means they can't act, don't want to act, or are you saying that just because they are older they shouldn't even try out for these parts, retire and what play golf? how about needlepoint?

I see you threw in that last line just so someone like me wouldn't go off on you, sorry but what you said offend me to no end. What a freaking thing to say let alone think, next time try thinking about it before you want to post.......

Oh and that wasn't being critical, just small minded..

  3. Rossellini has been flirting with the small screen for years.

I have taken the recent tendency of seasoned film actors moving to television as a step forward in the growth of the medium. TV isn't a place f washed up stars to die, no it's a legitimate venue and career move, and I'm really loving it.

  4. I think it's the last thing you said...I really think tv is the future and it's growing in quality day by day.
Anyway I'm looking forward to see Isabella and Lucia together!
