I really liked the pilot, especially the unexpected ways in which things, when aligned, can change people's lives. I didn't like the oven being foudn so quickly but otherwise I really liked it. Also, the child actor is quite good.
I liked it as well. The only thing that bothers me is that they want it to be very, very much a procedual. I think this can kill the show in long term, because how are you going to keep the audience attached if every week the stories feel repetetive.
I think the show should have a "catastrophe" or "large Threat" that the boy forsees but it´s getting only unfold in tiny bits and pieces over a couple of episodes until late in the season.
When the picture of what´s to happen is clear and who might be responsible for it, the task is to prevent it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I'll watch and give it a couple of episodes but touching as it was,i'm not sure about the long run.I just can't see it going on all that long.
ReplyDeleteI was rather underwhelmed by the pilot, far too soppy and unbelievable for me.

I want this show to work! Fingers crossed! If they gave Terra Nova time to find itself (which it never did) they can give a little time to Touch, too.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Pilot. I hope this show continues to be awesome.
